Commander Suites de Boracay — Hotel in Malay

We did not regret booking this place as a first timer to visit Boracay.

Cons: 1 star sana to but lets consider na a 2 to 3 minute walk to the shoreline isnt really bad. Whats very very bad is just the pathway to the beach (esp during rainy season). Was told they were trying to have it fixed but yung nanduon na mga nakatira, ayaw magbigay ng right of way. Well.. 🤷🏼‍♀️ However, there are sandbags where you can step into. Matinding labanan ang haharapin mo. 😆Still, it would be great na cementado atleast yung daanan. Its for the local economy and not just for the convenience of tourists like us.

For medyo maarte, when you stay on your balconies, the view youll get are the local residents house, back posrtions of some buildings. Again however, yung gusto namin tingnan and tambayan is the beach and not the balcony itself. Does that make sense to you?😁

Lets go to PROS: courteous and helpful staff malinis. No joke di mukhang ospital ang hallways. It doesnt have that creepy vibes na sanhi ng lockdown decent breakfast buffet and take note, wala kang masyadong nilalakad just to get to their restaurant kasi again, di naman tatlong building dadaanan mo or more. di masyadong crowded so you can be sure the help you need gets done away from the noisy areas has their own pool. clean toilet and bath/rooms they have a massage theraphist to do room service reasonable prices ng food. And in fairness masarap pagkakaluto. You should try their pizzas.

We are also pleased because when you pay and return the card key of your room, they will request for 5mins waiting time to check the what not on your room. It was a good thing coz it allows you to be notified that you forgot to bring some of your belongings.

Overall, after a long day of strolling around the island or on the beach or galing ka ng walwalan(wag ka lang madapa sa alley😆), you can be sure that you will go to a hotel thats clean and a room with a bed thats cozy.

We did not have any issues like the mosquitoes. We were placed on the 4th floor.

Today is February 8, 2025, and I have just arrived at the hotel. My room is 306, located on the 3rd floor with a view of the pool. Although this hotel is rated only 3 stars, you will find many pleasant details here that are unlikely to be found in higher-rated hotels.

The staff is very friendly and smiling! The entire hotel is very clean, including the entrance, lobby, and pool area. In my room, I couldn't find any mold in the shower—well done.

Now, about the pleasant details. The bathroom has toothbrushes, face towels, glass cups, a magnifying mirror, towels for the floor, feet, and body. A beach/pool towel is provided once a day.

The room includes a safe, kettle, tea accessories, coffee, cream, mini-fridge, hairdryer, and, unusually, two umbrellas in case guests want to shelter from the rain or sun, and even a flashlight. The room is impeccably clean and pleasant to be in. Near the TV, there is a list of available programs, which is very convenient. The room is nicely decorated with cute decor, paintings, and a mini vase with a live flower. The balcony has a table and two chairs.

Everything is well thought out. What else could be added? If the hotel has bathrobes, which they do, then slippers are needed :) Please add slippers. Also, a socket adapter could be provided :) Nevertheless, the hotel is close to ideal!

The only downside is the road to the beach, but it's just a 2-minute walk, and this is not the hotel's fault. Yes, it's not on the first line, but for this price, it's simply a magnificent hotel.

By the way, if you smoke, the hotel has a special place where you won't bother anyone, away from everyone.

The hotel management is doing a great job; the main thing is to keep up the standard and maintain the level!

Let's see how the next two days in this hotel go; I haven't seen the breakfasts yet, but I think they won't disappoint...

Вынужден оставить этот отзыв здесь, так как администрация отеля отказалась предоставить контакт руководства, тем самым исключив возможность диалога и сделав нас заложниками ситуации.

Мы провели в этом отеле две ночи — и, к сожалению, этот опыт оказался крайне неудачным.

🔻 Ночной шум и отсутствие охраны: В первую ночь рядом с отелем собралась шумная и агрессивная компания. Вместо того чтобы вмешаться, охрана отеля проигнорировала ситуацию. Мне пришлось самостоятельно выходить и просить их разойтись. Подобное отношение к безопасности гостей недопустимо.

🔻 Токсичный дым и угроза здоровью: На следующий день рядом с отелем сжигали неорганические отходы. Вся территория была затянута густым, токсичным дымом. В нашей группе были люди с респираторными заболеваниями, и им стало плохо. Реакция персонала была вялая и произошла только после повторного обращения.

🔻 Пассивность персонала: На ресепшене никак не отреагировали на наши жалобы. Ни объяснений, ни извинений. Это создаёт ощущение полной безответственности и равнодушия.

🔻 Комендантский час и закрытие входа: В отеле действует комендантский час — основной вход на территорию закрывается на ночь. Причина, как объяснили, — ночлежки за забором, где регулярно собираются компании и, судя по всему, остаются ночевать. Это вызвало у нас чувство тревоги и изоляции.

🔻 Территория и реконструкция: Часть территории отеля находится в стадии реконструкции, что делает пространство неуютным и шумным. У отеля есть только один небольшой бассейн, и общая атмосфера скорее напоминает временную базу, чем полноценный отель.

Мы покинули отель с разочарованием и чувством незащищённости. Такой опыт вряд ли можно считать приемлемым — особенно по заявленному уровню отеля. Надеюсь, отзыв будет полезен другим путешественникам и станет поводом...
