We stayed at the inn for 4 nights. It was a wonderful experience! ||Staff : The staff were responsive via FB and was able to answer my questions about the location, nearby establishments, wifi, LTE signal etc. When we arrived, they were all smiling and pleasant. All speak in English. :)||View: All of their rooms have an ocean view, it was perfect since you can hang out by the balcony while looking out to find my son splashing away in front of the property. ||Internet & cell service : LTE signal was great for both Smart & Globe even inside the room, speed can go up to 3 mbps and more for outside when using the free Gowifi up to 14 mbps (sometimes 25!). A cell tower is just near the property anyway so I never had to worry about cell service, I did my walk around other stations and found station 3 had poor signal. Wifi in the inn has good signal, but like every wifi it lessens when more people use it. When the room next to ours checked out, our internet speed went fast - husband is a gamer -.||Other perks: You can request for a beach chair to be placed infront of the property too. Water is provided by a hot and cold diapenser outside the hall and is never empty. Towels, changing of sheets and room cleaning is provided for free everyday but you must request it in the morning.||Food: Their mini bar is ok but we didn't take any anyway since we bought our own snacks. No room service but there is Army Navy just below.||Room: Clean and the furniture is made of wood so it looks great and not worn out. No insects or pests in our room and even outside. No weird smells and the sheets are always fresh and crisp. The air conditioner is great too, split type, efficient and quiet.||Noise: The inn is in between station 1 & 2, the first night was kinda noisy, it stopped at around 12 midnight and it was coming from the nearby restaurant, not too noisy or annoying karaoke, but the bass notes of the song can be heard. It was a Monday but the rest of our stay had no noise at all. Even if it is a beach front property, you can't hear the wind & waves when you close the glass sliding door. The floors are made of wood so yes, if your neighbors are rowdy teens, you can hear their stomping and giggling in the hall, but only in the hall. I was having a video conference with some friends and they couldn't hear any annoying background noise. ||Location: Superb! Nearby to places like Starbucks, 7/11 & everything!! I have a 5 yo son and if we stayed at any further locations after the Elizalde resthouse would be too inconvenient since establishments are far apart from each other.||Security : The property has a security guard below and staff are always there by the entrance. You need to leave your slippers though so it's likely to get lost if somebody mistakenly takes it, I suggest buying a cheap pair outside and use it or remove them and bring them up. The room locks are good and there are also on the glass doors, they still use the classic room key so don't lose it. CCTV cameras are located strategically. It's not near any bars that look like they tend to drunkards, but it's still a "party" island anyway so make sure the kids have some supervision. ||People : Boracay has a lot of Asian tourists and even if it's a party island it's still family oriented. Beside the in there are no adult bars that are "in your face" (not really anywhere) and there are local gov't units...
Read moreWhy does no one mention the loud music with booming bass from the adjoining property that lasts until 2/3 every single night? Unless you're a party animal, don't stay here. At around 5/6am the kitchen below starts up and the locals start congregating on the beach. The noise level is much less, but you still here it very clearly.||The rooms are in need of serious maintenance, with wobbly floor boards, bathroom doors that don't close properly, a balcony door that doesn't close fully and can't be locked, power sockets hanging out of the walls.||The beds have a single sheet each and the temperature of the aircon can't be adjusted, so either turn it off or freeze. The rooms are not serviced and the bed sheets and towels have dirty marks all over them.||We loved being right on the beach, but moved out with two (paid) nights left so we could get a good...
Read moreThe location of this place is just perfect, unfortunately that is maybe the only positive thing about the hotel. We are not fussy people, but would not recommend this place. It is right on the beach (which is a great thing) but it is also right next to the loud bar and the music would not let us fall asleep before midnight and we got woken up few times either by the neighbours leaving the place early to catch their flight ( you can really hear everything through the walls ), or by the people selling stuff on the beach early in the morning,or by drunk customers coming back during the night. So if you're looking for a good night sleep, look elsewhere. We spent 4 nights at this place and although grumpy due to lack of sleep, we did enjoy our...
