I booked 2 Premium Suites for 3 nights and I have to say, I love their service here! First, their staff are polite and helpful and always smiling and ready with a friendly greeting. Our rooms are amazing, the only complaint I have is that the second room seems to have a broken AC unit, it was not cooling as it should. But other than that, my children and my mother enjoyed the rooms - the beds were comfortable, the pillows are soft and fluffy, the bathroom and toilet are clean, there’s a small red, a pot to heat water for tea and coffee, free breakfast buffet, sizable balconies and a pleasant atmosphere. They have a pool and jacuzzi (does not heat). They also have the “Upperhouse spa” where you can book massages, body scrubs, etc. and a gym. I love the part where the spa is right there, we got massages from here, too! I also really appreciated their private airport transfers. Their crew made it less stressful to transfer from airport, Caticlan port, their private speed boat to the hotel and vice versa. I have my kids and my mother with me (not to mention luggages) so them taking care of this the way they did really relieved me a lot. They took care of paying the necessary fees at the port as well. Their breakfast buffet has a good selection. They also have healthy options such as make your own sandwich with veggies, fruits, cereal and muesli, and yogurt. Their room service is also awesome. Their staff clean up well and when you need something, they are quick to respond. Like in just two to five minutes, they bring what you need. I paid for our accommodations and airport transfers through their online reservations assistance but they also take credit cards onsite. They also offer laundry services at a fair enough price. They have beach front view. I booked our activities through Klook but apparently you can also book through them with a 3rd party partner. I do recommend this place and would not mind going back if we go back to Boracay! Thank you!

Experience at District Hotel Dear Management, I'm writing this email not out of spite, but out of sheer frustration and disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel, District Hotel. My hopes for a comfortable and pleasant stay were dashed against the rocks of poor service and questionable policies, which have left a bitter taste in my mouth. It's almost daylight robbery when opening a door comes with an astounding fee of 200 Pesos for losing a key card, which could happen to anyone. Oh, and God forbid you lose track of time, because apparently time is solid gold at your institute charging a whopping 500 Pesos if you're late for checkout. But the cherry on top of this displeasing cake has to be your front desk staff. Specifically, an individual name LIANA who radiates about as much warmth as a snowstorm in Alaska. Her tough demeanor and crumb-faced expression did absolutely nothing to make me feel welcome or appreciated as a guest. As an establishment that is supposed to pride itself on service and hospitality, it is appalling to me that instead of trying to create a welcoming atmosphere, you've opted for the 'milk them dry' policy where anything and everything has a fee attached to it. Oh, and let's talk about Wi-Fi, or the lack thereof. The pitifully poor internet connection in the rooms makes me question whether we're in 2024 or back in the dial-up era. The promise of connectivity was as hollow as the overpriced room rates that I had to shell out for the terrible, terrible lodging experience. My stay at District Hotel was nothing more than a cocktail of bad experiences. I cannot, in good faith, recommend your hotel to anyone. I hope you take this feedback seriously, and not as a personal attack but an opportunity for some much-needed introspection and overhaul. Regards, Khalid

Our company outing at The District Boracay was an overall fantastic experience. The location is perfect, right in front of the beach, making it easy to enjoy both the resort and the beautiful surroundings. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere for all of us. While the stay was wonderful, there was a slight hiccup during lunch service on the day of our arrival. Given the timing, it was expected that everyone would be hungry, yet the staff seemed a bit unprepared for the rush. The food was slow to be replenished, which led to a bit of discomfort. I believe they could have been more attentive in ensuring the buffet was consistently stocked so everyone could enjoy their meals fully. On a positive note, the food itself was absolutely superb! There was a great variety of options, and everything was flavorful. It’s clear that they take great care in preparing meals, and it was one of the highlights of our stay. The staff were consistently accommodating and respectful throughout our visit. From the moment we arrived at the airport to our departure, the service was great. Everyone was friendly and made sure that we felt welcomed and well taken care of. Overall, I would highly recommend The District Boracay for anyone looking for a relaxing, beautiful getaway. Despite a minor issue with the lunch service, the experience was largely positive, and we look forward to returning in the future.

Transfer to and from the airport was smooth. The Staff who assisted me were highly recommended. It showed that they were in the hospitality business for a long time and know exactly how to make me welcome and comfortable.||2. Receptionist on duty during my arrival explained the Hotel regulations, asked for my number so they can contact me once the room is ready. I am aware that check in time is 2PM. I dont mind being informed to come back at 2PM but to be given a false hope that they will contact me as soon as the room was ready- this was the beginning of the negative impression. I went back to check if the room was ready and they let me in at 1PM.||3. I was assigned a room located in the Annex building, no elevator, far from the Lobby area - the Hotel staff assisted me with me the luggage so no issue about it. When I entered the room, it was spacious, well lit, the bed was comfortably done. I looked for the bottled water as I was so thirsty - none. I had to call the Reception which they insisted that it's been preset in the room so I asked them to just send the Housekeeping. When the staff arrived, he said "Ay sorry po nakalimutan lagyan". This made me question the kind of preparation that they did knowing that the room will be occupied by a guest. ||On first day (May 1), I went for breakfast at 7AM - there were only 2 diners that time including myself. I requested for 2 well done fried eggs, I waited until I the end of my meal but nothing came. There were around 5 staff who were just standing at the counter, no one remember to follow up the request. When I asked where is the Coffee, the male attendant reposition the small placard "Brewed Coffee" as if saying "its here" - my impression? RUDE - this is not what I expect from a 4 star hotel. ||On my 2nd day (May 2), I woke up with water leakage from the AC. The floor leading to the bathroom was flooded. I called the Maintenance team to fix it which they immediately responded. No apologies received from the Manager/Guest Relations. Again - guest experience service recovery - ZERO.||On the 3rd day (May 3), it was raining hard so I looked for the umbrellas that were supposed to be preset in the room as per the Hotel Amenities checklist - again, NONE. I had to call the Reception to request for it. One of the umbrellas has been used and I left it at the entrance of Breakfast restaurant - when I was leaving after my meal, umbrella was no where to be found. I asked them if they have CCTV to check who took it - NONE. What happened to the security aspect of your hotel?||Overall experience, I will honestly rate it 4 out of 10. The only time that I felt like a real guest was during the Transfer to and from the airport, I must commend the guys who took take of me. At the Hotel? I will honestly rate it below satisfactory. During my 5 days stay - with all the highlighted valid complains that I raised, the Guest Relations didnt do anything to recover the service - an Apology Note or a simple "sorry for the inconvenience" was not even heard from your Manager/Reception Staff. ||The way you run your Hotel is just pure business, no hospitality, no customer care - There are lots of competitions around your neighborhood and The District have to learn more from Coast Boracay and Two Seasons Hotel on how to do GOOD BUSINESS by making their guests feel special and taken care of during their most...
