The food here is too expensive that I could tell their target market is foreigners, not the locals. I will definitely not come back because I realize I'm poor and can't afford to come back to the island of Boracay and eat there. There are other seafood places there that may have greater value for our money.
Ok, so onto the review of the food and the ambiance of the place.
Their garlic rice for sharing (good for 2-3 people) is ₱390! It wasn't even that good. It was just like regular rice with a sprinkle of garlic, there was barely any garlic. Definitely overpriced.
Their calamari was too chewy because it was overcooked. We had a hard time eating it. It was so disappointing, especially because that plate of calamari is worth ₱450! Also overpriced.
The pasta called spaghetti amatriciana was ok, fine, I like the tomato sauce and the al dente spaghetti pasta but hated the bacon bits because I thought it was undercooked. I like a bit of crisp to my bacon, there was 0 crispy bacon in that pasta dish. The bread that came with it was close to becoming stale. Price of that pasta is ₱400, overpriced!
As for the sizzling seafood platter, it was good, the sauce was tasty and flavorful, the clams? Or were they oysters? I don't know my shells, but the shells and mussels were good, they tasted great and the texture was just right. The shrimp and crab were also fine. But of course, the chewy squid bits that was included were unsatisfying so I can't really call this dish a solid one. It wasn't worth it for ₱1900! Overpriced.. maybe.
They also had a power outage, but it wasn't just in this particular restaurant, the whold D'Mall lost power for a couple of minutes and it wasn't a good experience, not the worst. I feel kinda bad for everyone, even the restaurant staff. Power outages are not cool.
Overall, it was an ok experience although I wished we (my family) had never eaten here at all because it wasn't cheap, now we have to work extra hard to earn back the money we kinda wasted on this place.
Yes I know, I'm poor. If you're not poor and you happen to read this review, I'm not discouraging you from trying out this restaurant. Maybe when you visit, they'll have better food. I can't guarantee a cheap price but maybe if you are paid well at your work and you crave for seafood and pasta, then might as well try this place when...

A Must-Try Seafood Spot! 🐟👌
I'm absolutely obsessed with this seafood restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was cozy and inviting. The decor was nautical-themed, which added to the overall seafood experience.
The service was top-notch – our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations. We started with the seafood platter, which included a variety of fresh catches, including oysters, shrimp, and mussels. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the freshness was evident.
For my main course, I opted for the grilled salmon, which was cooked to perfection. The fish was moist, flaky, and full of flavor. My dining companion's seafood paella was also a hit – the saffron-infused rice was aromatic, and the seafood was cooked just right.
One of the standout features of this restaurant is their commitment to sustainability. They source their seafood from local, eco-friendly suppliers, which aligns with my values.
The only drawback was the price – it's definitely on the higher end. However, considering the quality of the food and service, I believe it's worth every penny.
Overall, I'd highly recommend this seafood restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious, fresh, and memorable dining experience. Be sure to make a reservation, as it can...

The only reason we even bothered to eat here was that the line was horribly long and it was obviously so famous with the FOREIGN tourists. And so we decided to also line up to see what the fuss is all about.
To be fair, the staff is AMAZING. The waiting line was a combination of different Asian foreigners and the person taking the orders was able to seamlessly change from dialect to dialect. I am not saying that they were super fluent but it was enough that they were able to quickly understand and suggest the orders.
When it was finally our turn we asked what the best seller is and they said it was the chilli crab. We asked how much it was and they said it was around PHP 900 for ONE CRAB. She went on to assure us that it would be big, and so we did expect it to be.
Imagine our surprise when we saw the crab that was as big as my hand. (I am 5'1'' with a size 7 foot. your foot is more or less as big as your hand) It wasn't meaty at all.
I suggest to go to the dampa, which will get you more crabs, for that amount, and you get to choose the crabs that you want to eat. They will weigh it and cook it for a fee (around 200 pesos).
I guess it is just the convenience of being near the beach front.Other than that, it is not worth the ...
