The hotel's location is fantastic, but the state of the place left much to be desired. We stayed at Room A3, despite being conveniently close to DMall, the passage through a run-down alley was off-putting. Upon arrival, the staff was welcoming, but the inconvenience of providing the room deposit in cash due to the lack of credit card facilities was unexpected. The room, though not luxurious, had decent beds, though they were somewhat squeeky. Mosquitoes and a loud air conditioner greeted us, setting the tone for a less-than-pleasant stay. Things took a turn for the worse on the second day when a cockroach invaded our restroom, scurrying around my sister's toothbrush. Despite using insect spray (originally provided to us for mosquitoes) more appeared underneath the sink and scurried into our towels, and the late hour meant no housekeeping was available. Reporting the issue to the reception in the morning resulted in a perfunctory cleanup, with no acknowledgment of the inconvenience. Breakfast was nice, it's a good free breakfast and selection was decent enough. Breakfast service is also good except for the guy who needs training as he is obviously lacking hospitality in his gesture. At a cost of 4,300 pesos, I cannot recommend this hotel for those with a keen sense of cleanliness. Nearby options like Piccolo or Guilius, offering similar or close to price, provide a far more satisfactory experience.

It’s super near the white beach, the wifi isn’t that good tho, youll need to sign up youll connect and disconnect, unli water from their restaurant, the breakfast taste good and not cheap, the room is clean , we stayed here cause we will enjoy the white beach and water activities, hotel with pool is good if you wont do any water activities, this one doesnt. My bf requested this surprise and it’s a good presentation, 😊 loved it.

Seabird is situated about a hundred meters from the beach, and a couple of blocks from D’Mall. Amenities like Wi-Fi, cable (although weak) and hot water are available, along with complimentary Filipino breakfasts. Yoga classes are held there every Thursdays. Beds and toiletries are bare but decent. Staff are friendly and accommodating, transportation arrangements good, and rate priced competitively. All in all, not too bad.

Disappointing Service at the Restaurant

While the rooms were fine, the air conditioning worked well, and cleanliness was up to par, our experience was completely overshadowed by the behavior of the restaurant staff, particularly Jade Elaica and Japs Allen dela Torre.

We stepped into the restaurant for breakfast and the staff’s body language and behavior made us feel unwelcome. Coffee tasted like water with just a little bit of brown color in it hence we had to bring our own coffee for the next 2 days. We asked for sunny side up eggs well done (over hard) yet it was served over easy for the next 4 days of our stay. When we asked them to put it on the pan again and make it well done, it still came back over easy. When Jade Elaica was being asked about something on the menu, she doesn’t make eye contact and does not even look up. She does not smile, doesn’t make guests feel welcome. The 2nd day of breakfast, there was another employee with Jade Elaica wearing black whose name we later found out was Japs Allen dela torre. He took our orders while his hands were crossed over his chest. All the while not smiling and speaking in a rude tone. The 3rd day, Jade Elaica was there again and acted the same way she acted the past couple days, rude, not smiling and unwelcoming. On our checkout day, there was a different guy in black at the counter and that was the only day out of the 4days of breakfast that we got our orders right. We ordered coffee and were surprised that coffee can actually be good at this restaurant. So unlike the coffee we had on the first day. Eggs with bread was served with butter and jam unlike the last 3 days wherein on the 1st day no butter/jam given, 3rd day we had to ask for the butter and was given such a tiny portion. This added to the overall dissatisfaction with the restaurant service.

It seemed as though these staff members were neither professionally trained nor interested in their work, which killed the overall vibe of our stay. While the hotel facilities were decent, the rude and unprofessional behavior at the restaurant made our stay less enjoyable.

My family and I are planning to go back to Boracay in summer and is considering booking the same hotel however due to the bad hospitality given by these 2 staff, we would definitely reconsider specially when this is how we were treated at the beginning of our day for the whole stay. We hope the management addresses this issue seriously to improve guest experience...

Poor first impression at check-in with an unexpected requirement to pay a large deposit, a list of rules was given and at the room I had to sign for each item within the room. Further disappointment as the hotel’s restaurant played loud music which could be heard inside my room throughout the day. The morning breakfast was somewhat mediocre and I found the service to be poor over the course of many days. The Seabird hotel is situated down a dingy alley which is poorly lit at night. While it is in the heart of Boracay, not far from the beach, unfortunately many sales people come to the hotel restaurant and when you step out into this area you immediately feel overwhelmed by constant demands from sales people. The Seabirds’ Wi-Fi is set up in an inconvenient fashion, requiring repeated logging in to be able to use it. Each hotel room door is an external door so the outside weather conditions and insects have a greater impact within the room; constant cleaning would be required in order to keep the room clean. While the furniture within the rooms and the restaurant is somewhat old and really needs replacing / updating. The Seabird lists itself as being a three-star hotel but my seven-day stay allowed me to determine that it should be listed as a one-star hotel only. It was clear to me that the Seabird seemed better at servicing guests who were Filipino families and not suitable for foreign tourists who would find the qualities of the Seabird hotel very...
