Alona White Houses Resort — Hotel in Panglao

This hotel is the best so far in bohol. It is new build hotel, price is really good for their huge private room, comfortable bed, very clean, and of course good Wifi (I am an digital nomad, it really works for me). Plus they have a new pool which is 3 weeks old when we came. We initially book 2 nights, and since we like it we extend 3 more night, and after that another 5 more nights.

The host and staff is also very accomodating and will provide all your needs. Once we had our room cleaning, and they clean it really well like how they clean for the next guest. They changes everything.

Location, I don't mind as we have a bike, but still a walking distance from highway. 15 to 20 mins walk to Alona Beach. Other than that, very quite place. They are building a common kitchen when we left, do it is definitely gonna...

The White Houses are an excellent place to stay if you’re staying near Alona Beach. The rooms are very spacious and clean, the water pressure and hot water are good, they have a TV, and the fridges are stocked with water/soda/beer. The central area of the resort has a bar and pool, and it has a very cozy/private vibe.

The only issue of note would be that they are a bit of a walk away from the beach, located down a bumpy back road. It will take you at least 20 minutes to walk to the beach. However, if you’d like to have a place that’s a bit quieter and where you can hear birds and crickets, this would actually be considered an advantage.

The last thing to note is that the prices are exceptional reasonable, at least when I visited in June. Overall a highly recommended place to stay near...

This place is more than perfect, everything is super new and fresh! The bed was very comfortable, finally a good thick mattress (first time a good one in our 3 weeks travel in Philippines), bedside tables on both sides, very good AC (also a silent one!). The shower is well equipped, strong water pressure, 2 different towels, place to put your soap, etc. Finally a place where they owners thought about all details! I also really liked the location, it’s very close to the center, but more secluded and very quiet, so we could get a good sleep. The owner was veeeery sweet, we are so grateful for her helping us with some advices and booking a transport to Tagbilaran ...
