I booked a stay in one of the properties managed by Lisbon Heart for 3 weeks, and was contacted by Maria and Joao. The moment I reported a problem with the property, Maria became insolent and very unprofessional. It seems in her mind, it shouldn’t matter to me that there is no signal or wifi in the property, smoke/cigarette fumes coming through the kitchen from the downstairs restaurant and the fact that the property wasn’t as shown in pictures (missing rug, table etc). I suffer from Asthma so anything related to smoke or fumes or strong overpowering odours gets me very worried! I mentioned these issues to Lisbon Heart, and there was absolutely no sympathy or understanding - just abuse and accusation. I would only recommend this company to a person I strongly hated - and now because of this company, the owner of the property is going to be paying a major financial loss on the property by the time I’m finished staying here. So for anyone thinking of giving their property to this company to manage on their behalf - think twice as when they are rude to customers it’s you that suffers for their behaviour, not them- they will still collect their money from you. And for customers, also think twice - because if you have a problem, you will be ignored and disrespected. And we all know, problems happen, so do you really want to risk booking with them in the hopes that you don’t have any problems. It’s a gamble. You’ve been warned. There is a reason their average score is a...
Read moreGood location, near transportation, many sites and restaurants. There was a lot of construction in the building so it was loud. Our apartment was on the 6th floor with no elevator so be ready to walk up the stairs. The place is a little hard to find as well because the entrance is located through a hat and scarf shop. Walk through part of the shop to get to the stairs. Actually getting into your room may be a challenge as well--we had a check-in time previously confirmed by email with Bruno, the manager, but he wasn't there. Eventually we found someone who could call him and he arrived to tell us our apartment wasn't ready. We had to wait about an hour. Also, we were told coffee and tea would be provided. Bruno said he'd get us some, but it never showed up. For the price it was an OK place to stay, but I'd probably try somewhere else next...
Read moreReally happy with this place.. its really clean and well equipped with a great view of the square right in the centre of Lisbon next to Rossio square. Really easy to get here by metro from the airport. Its really hard to find but its right next door to the Eight health food cafe. There was someone there to greet us and gave us a very useful talk, where to go and places to eat etc. The locks both to our apartment and the main door on the street are very tricky to open. You need a certain knack and a large amount of luck. Fortunately during the day and early evening the door is open and the entrance converts into a hat shop. No good for wheelchair users with no lifts and 8 flights if stairs to climb. Also not made aware of any...
