Mon Tea Portugal 萌 — Restaurant in Lisbon

Horrible experience!

Me and my gf are used to try many different ramen restaurants in Lisbon! We decided to try this one, this Saturday (20/jan/2024), but it was a disappointment!!!

1 - The cashier didn’t understood nothing English or Portuguese and it had bad attitude not a good welcoming at all!!!

2 - We try shrimp ramen and vegetable ramen both of them had no taste at all, it seems like water with noodles and some random vegetables, and certain not the ones that it used to go on ramens, but the worst part it was the flavor, we didn’t even eat half of the food!

3 - We try some mochis, 2 hours later they were good, because they serve us frozen mochis in a plastic box, definitely not what I was expecting. Plus, they charge 4€ for 1 frozen Mochi ahah ridiculous!

The prices in general are low but for the food they should put the prices a little high and hire someone that knows how ramen it’s made! Because they don’t know how to do Ramen!

I put the stars just for the asian supermarket part of this place. Though you have to push if you don't want to pay in cash (you can pay by card on the restaurant part if needed even if they try to push badly for cash). The selection is small super small. But I like the ramen I can find here when I don't have time to go to the asian supermarket in martim Moniz. A bit on the pricy side for the same ramen and noodle you find cheaper in the mercado oriental on the center. The bubble tea isn't really good to be honest. Cheap stuff and not super tasty but the price is the same than the better bubble place I'm usually using like bubble time and whale bubble tea but those are way better. I was a bit...

I’ve gone to this place so many times because I always crave bobba when I catch the train,the drinks are always almost like a bet because they mostly turn out “ok bad” or good or reasonable. I did learn how to try to get a good drink,never ask for a milk bobba when the guy is working there,I’ve had 5 times that he made me a drink and it was disastrous, and when I complained he just ignored me and said things with no sense. I usually only get the fruit tea bobbas because they kill thirst and are okay although many times the bobbas are dry,they barely put bobba pearls in ur drinks and the drink is often flavorless. This bobba place disappointed me but sometimes it’s good so do what u want...
