There is a steep climb to this property, located along one of the tourist walking tours. Beautiful church dup the street with city and river views and sunset lookout. First floor suite has basement bedroom with kitchen and bathroom upstairs. Can be difficult and dangerous for those physically or vision impaired. Wonderful walking around during the day but very dark and can be dangers lurking at night. Many breakfast options nearby with a Grey line tourist center around the corner. Starbucks is also vary close. Taxi to this address can be a problem if the driver is not familiar with the area. Door to door drop off IS possible but the driver may want to drop you off blocks away! Hosts were tremendous, helping us find the door. They communicate with Whatsapp and there is free city WiFi in most areas. If you find yourself standing near an old style red phone box, you are very close by. We recommend the Pingo Doce super market. Si pudiera poner menos 5 estrellas , las pondría ! Para empezar , no había papel higiénico , la cama tenía los muelles que te reventaban la espalda y calefacción inesistente!! La habitación está en el subsuelo y es de piedra , así que el frío es una barbaridad y tiene aires acondicionados de calidad pésima y no funcionan. Respecto al papel higiénico el dueño lo solucionó entregándome el código de otro apartamento de la finca (cosa ilegal ya que iban a llegar otros huéspedes en dicho apartamento) . Respecto al resto, pues , ante mis quejas antes a él y luego a booking, nos amenazó y nos tirò de su casa sin devolvernos ni un euro. Pésimo el , sin educación y sin nada de empatía .
