Dream House — Hotel in Seoul

We came to Seoul for 1 night, to walk around town and hangout. We chose Mapo district for its nightlife and good Korean food places. Dream House Hotel turned to be a great choice and we got far way more than we expected. It is a family owned new guesthouse and it really makes you feel at home. For a decent price you get basic and very clean room and breakfast is self-made in a shared kitchen. It is a nice experience if you are open minded. The staff speaks good English and can recommend nice places to hand around. Location is superb: 5 minute walk from Hapjeong Station and a 10 minute walk from famous Hongdae scene. When we checked out we understood how freindly and warm can the service be. We were afraid to miss the bus to Incheon International Airport, so the owner of the hotel took us in his own car (with the luggage!) to the bus station. that's how you make a difference and make service...

We stayed in this guesthouse for 7 nights. The location is excellent, in a lively area of Seoul. There is a massive choice of restaurants and bars, yet the guesthouse Is in a quiet location. It is close to 2 metro stations, one of which has a direct connection to Incheon airport. It is also on line 2 which is very convenient for visiting many sights.||The guesthouse is spotlessly clean. Breakfast is provided as is tea and coffee in the rooms. Wifi is reliable. The service is excellent. The owner is friendly and helpful. In fact, when he spotted us leaving with luggage for the walk to the railway station, he insisted on driving us there himself.||I would definitely...

Good stay at Dream House! We got the Standard double room and soace is okay for us couple and opening our 2 luggages. They allow to leave luggage if you arrive early. There’s free refill of water at the pantry area.

I love how the shower room has glass divider so the whole toilet area will not get wet unlike usual small hotels in Korea.

Location is in the middle of 2 subway stations - quite a walk from Hongik and Hapjeong station but manageable. If you prefer taking bus, there is one near as well. Several cute cafes in the area and CU and 7/11...
