The beds, the cuikts and the pillows leftover from the previous century. They completed their economic lives decades ago but the management insists on usin them. They are just interested in money. The clients are not valuable for them. We still have pains in our backs from the beds. The photos are attached. A room of 13-14 m2 is for three adults. After a sleep of 7 hours in such a small room is like torturing people with lack of oxygen. If you do not believe and still would like to stay in there, you had better take your pillows, quilts and your beds if you can. We had to return to the apoartment because of an emergency but the door handle would not work. We could not enter the room. Had to call the communication number. We were instructed tgat the door handle was supposed to be moved upwards then it would work. It worked but 10 minutes after the emergency needs. Not all the door handle was mulfunctioning. The management just do not bother to have them reoaired. That was the most UNCOMFORTABLE HOTEL ROOM we have ever stayed in. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER AGAIN. I SLEEP IN THE CAR. MUCH MORE CONFORTABLE.
Cleaning was perfect. Six/seven free parking places are available in the residence. Close to the city center. The kitchen is more than enough. Electric system is very old and not reliable. Instead of European Grounded Plug, they have Swiss plugs and sockets (https://www.plugsocketmuseum.nl/Swiss1.html). Maybe that is a standart in whole Switzerland, that I do not know. Before you go there, You had better check the...
Read moreI stayed here for two nights, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The room felt like a cozy little home. We arrived around 8 PM on the first day to check in. There were no staff members on-site at the time, but the instructions were clear and easy to follow, so we had no trouble getting into our room. The four of us stayed in room 351, which was spacious and clean. The master bedroom had a double bed, a single bed, a sofa, a TV, and a dining table. The second bedroom had two single beds and a few armchairs, making the space very comfortable. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, including a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, steamer, oven, toaster, and coffee machine. There were also plenty of pots, pans, and tableware, making it perfect for cooking our own meals. The location was excellent—very close to the train station and Coop supermarket, so we could easily grab some groceries on our way back and enjoy meals in our room. The view from the window was stunning, facing the mountains, which looked especially beautiful in the morning. Our floor also had an outdoor seating area where we could relax and take in the scenery. Although the water pressure in the bathroom was a bit weak and the soundproofing wasn’t the best, it wasn’t a major issue. Considering the affordable price (especially for Switzerland), this place was already an amazing deal. On the second afternoon, we met two staff members when we returned and asked about luggage storage. They were incredibly kind and helpful—big...
Read moreWe stayed for two days at Residence Jungfrau. We booked from a different website where it was listed with Hotels and we assumed it to be a hotel - which it is not. ||The location is good. It is a 5 mins walk from Interlaken West station.|We got an appartment to stay which had a really spacious room with windows opening up to beautiful mountain views. Besides the main bed which could accommodate all three of us, there was also a bunk bed that could accommodate another two people. Also the Kitchean and dinning area is huge with a lavish sofa that could also sleep a person easily. The appartment has all cutleries, microwave and cooking arrangements. The bathroom is clean - towels are provided.||One thing to note though - the owners are available only between 10.00 - 6.00. Anytime beyond this, you are on your own. When we checked in, we saw three cards were placed at teh main entrance mentioning the names of the guests who were supposed to check in and the respective room numbers and the keys were stuck at the door. So you could literally self check-in. ||It is not something to write home about but provides for a decent, clean and spacious...
