Not what we call 'soul food' in the middle east, this is the type of food that you would eat if no other option is available.
The Tekka (meat cubes) were grilled to the last drop of moisture and some were actually burned, they were very hard to chew.
The Fatosh salad, the cucumber and tomatoes were golf ball big, and extremely over salted.
The Humus was out of a grosary can, at least for me when I compare it to other restaurants.
The falafel, to start it didn't look like a falafel, it had the shape of a chicken nugget, the taste was not even close to what a falafel should be. The Tahenah should have yogurt and other ingredients in it, not pure Tahenah sauce which is sesame paste.
The bread was ok and hot.
Chicken wings where fine.
The plate garnishing was fine.
one plate came with rice that tasted like pure butter.
The sprite was room temperature, bottle served with a strow in it.

Read moreThe waitress immediately attended us & seated us. Order was taken straight away however the server hardly understood English & were not able to communicate properly in German. They did have German speaking servers but none came to us.
Food was served in time & was pretty tasty, however no glasses were severed with drinks & only given cans. We were told that they only have sparkling water bottled in 500 ml only so we ordered two & no glasses were served. The mix platter came with no serving spoons & we had to go to counter to ask for additional spoons to serve food into plates & glasses for drinks.
Over all food experience was good but restaurant lacks badly when it comes to service.

So my final words would be, food is good but service is...
Read moreThe restaurant is below average in terms of how it looks and feel. We took our lunch at the balcony looking at the river, yet we didn’t feel its special at all. The shawarma looked as if it was cooked the day before, though the kids said it taste fine. I didn’t like the taste of the Kabab and Shoqaf. What was really disappointing is that when I asked if their Shoqaf was lamb or veal, they confirmed lamb, however the served veal meat. Personally the Argila smell was very strong and filled my lunges, so couldn’t enjoy any fresh air. The staff are all kind men however there were no females, so female customers weren’t comfortable. Prices are too high compared with overall quality and set up. Overall experience was never go...
