Bumblebee Hanggliding Interlaken — Local services in Interlaken

Was initially booked for paragliding but chose to go for hang gliding instead at the very last minute, after hearing a lot about it when I arrived here at Interlaken.

Was really excited and also super nervous about what I signed up for, even more so during the drive up to the take off point. But the friendly and cheeky team of boys were super chill, humourous and fun, and that really helped to calm my nerves and made me feel more relaxed and confident for the flight.

Shoutout to my guide, Pete, who was extremely professional, patient and helpful throughout the entire experience! His explanations were very clear and thorough during preparation and setup, and he made sure I was 100% ready and feeling okay before takeoff. His attentiveness made me feel really safe and I knew I was in good hands!

The takeoff happened super quickly and the moment we were up in the air, it felt like time slowed down a little and everything felt super nice and peaceful - all my fears and worries prior went away immediately at that point in time! The weather was awesome and the views of the Bernese Alps and lakes were absolutely stunning and spectacular!

Had lots of fun chatting w Pete while we were up in the air - he even did some cool tricks when we were heading down for landing - super exhilarating and fun! The photos and videos turned out really perfect!

This is a must-do when you’re at Interlaken - pricey but worth every penny! So happy I chose this over paragliding, no regrets and I can’t recommend Bumblebee Hanggliding enough! Big thanks to Pete and team for such an amazing and unforgettable 10/10 experience! :)

After a 2 week trip across various countries in Europe, I can say hands down that hang gliding with Bumblebee has been the highlight of my trip! I booked my flight the night before ~7:30/8p, and even though Bumblebee's store hours stated they were closed, I was still able to easily call/get into contact with Bumblebee staff via Whatsapp to get last minute questions I had answered. The Bumblebee staff picked me up exactly where they described, and because my parents wanted to watch me glide down and Bumblebee had extra room in their van, they gave them a ride to the landing site (so nice of them!).

From meeting all the staff the morning of (Jukka, Toby and Joe), I felt like I was in great hands, as everyone was friendly and did a great job at preparing me and another glider for the ride to come. They even offered extra sunglasses if we thought the glide would be more comfortable with them :)

The ride itself was UNBELIEVABLE! I feel lucky that the weather was amazing -- partly cloudy skies, overall sunny --, and the views were stunning! I rode with Joe, and he brought such good vibes with his friendly, encouraging personality and speaker to play music during the glide. He also captured SUCH great shots with his GoPro -- my parents have been re-watching the videos he took and wish they had gone themselves. If you have any desire to go hang gliding, don't hesitate! Look no further -- book with Bumblebee and enjoy the ride!!! Bumblebee Hangliding Interlaken was EXCEPTIONAL! We were in the Swiss Alps for our honeymoon and we actually originally had paragliding on our honeymoon bucket list. However, after some research, we got a feeling we might like hanggliding more and we couldn’t have made a better choice!!! We decided to do it on a whim, so they were very flexible and quick to add us into their schedule. Not only was it the most thrilling, fun, enjoyable experience, it was truly one of the highlights of our honeymoon trip! I rode with Toby and my husband rode with Banz. They were friendly, hilarious and made the whole experience way more fun! Their personalities were the best! They also were very helpful with telling us instructions, and making us feel safe and secure. I saw a Pilot’s Halo on my ride, which was the coolest thing ever! I would recommend this to anyone visiting the area! In fact, it’s something that no one should miss! It was such a unique and adventurous way to see spectacular views from such an extraordinary perspective. For some perspective, we felt that it was the PERFECT balance of thrill and enjoyment! We have previously been skydiving (extremly fast-speed ) and parasailing (very slow/ relaxed) and at the end we BOTH said we liked it 100X better than either of those experiences.
