What a shame to include this place to the great Italian cuisine. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.
It took me and my lady friend around 1 hour and 45 mins to be served 1 pizza and 1 pasta. Since we wanted italian cuisine for the night, and this restaurant had good reviews, we waited. Oh, it gets much better.
The pizza was ready after 1 hour, but they refused to serve only one dish, so they let the pizza get cold, get covered in flies, microwaved it, and then served it by itself anyway. Believe it or not, it gets much better.
When I told the waitress of the situation, her respons was, (hear and be amazed) that they were out of spagettis (!). A italian restaurant with no spagettis.
When I told her that the company sitting next to us who came and ordered one hour after us already got their food and actually eating spagetti, she told the manager that we were unhappy. Instead of an apology, we were scolded by him.
When my pasta finally arrived, and the eatable part of the microwaved pizza are long gone, guess what? One of the large shrimps in my pasta wasn't thoroughly cooked. It was like chewing into raw chicken. Naturally, I spat that out and we called it a night. We were too tired to pick a fight, so we paid for the food and left.
My only reaction is actually pure shock. This was by far my worst experience ever, and not only in a restaurant. Based on this visit, I'd say that this place brought shame on the great italian cuisine and Switzerland. We wasn't expecting that this kind of service could happen in such a well organized country such as Switzerland.
I felt like it's my responsibility to share my experience and warn other guests. Visit on your own risk, you have been warned.

We were attracted by the good google reviews and belief that you can’t really screw up Italian food that badly.
On the positive side the food we had was ok, no better than ok, our pizza was fine, the spaghetti bolognese was weak, I could make better and home and I’m no professional chef.
Despite the restaurant being empty the service was slow, unfriendly and charmless. The food too ages to come despite being a simple order and the restaurant being empty. Even providing a menu seemed like a chore and the odd smile might help, you’re in a service industry...
There is a Chf 5.- charge for tap water which is in fairness listed openly on the menu. I find this petty and ridiculous, though apparently is not uncommon is this part of Switzerland (uniquely globally as far as I’m aware). I struggle to see how it is compatible with the concept of hospitality. The food feels slightly overpriced in general.
Despite asking multiple times the bill didn’t arrive and when it did was inflated, it wasn’t by much and I’d had enough waiting around so just paid and left.
Try somewhere else is my advice. With so many tourists in Interlaken it didn’t feel like they...
Read moreOn the way to Grindelwald, we stopped by Interlaken. The restaurant was quite far from the train station, I almost gave up and decide to have our lunch at coop restaurant because I had two big luggages with me. We walked along the river to Citta Vecchia, it was at the inner street after we crossed the river. Once you get there you would see a typical Italian style appearance. We did not take the nicely decorated indoor table, but we decided to sit outdoor to enjoy the lovely environment under the sunlight. The staffs were very friendly, both lady and two other gentlemen. We had a warm welcome from them. When I was placing my order I asked about the sauce and flavour, he was opened and said I can go with any sauce as I like but also mentioned which one does not go well. The dishes we had were both delicious and fresh. There were carriage rides passing by, which gave a nice entertainment to the tourists like us. Next time when I come to Interlaken, I would definitely love to...
