As an Indian traveler exploring the picturesque town of Interlaken, visiting Kursaal was a peaceful and refreshing experience. Nestled right in the heart of the town, this historic venue stands out with its classic European architecture and lush green surroundings. It’s not a place buzzing with typical tourist activity, but it offers a calm escape, perfect for those who appreciate culture, beauty, and a touch of elegance.

The gardens are beautifully maintained and provide a postcard-perfect view of the Swiss Alps—something straight out of a Bollywood movie! (I could easily imagine a Yash Raj scene shot here.) If you’re lucky, you might come across a live concert or a cultural event happening inside the grand hall. The interior of the building has an old-world charm with intricate woodwork and high ceilings—very different from anything we see back home.

Though there’s no entry fee to walk around, it’s more enjoyable when there’s an event to attend. Even if not, it’s worth strolling through, taking photos, and soaking in the peaceful vibe—especially after a hectic day of sightseeing or shopping...

Beautiful garden once I could find the place. Only managed to discover where the gardens were when I saw from above atop at Harder Kulm. I got lost as in central Interlaken, there was a sign for the Kursaal leading to the backstreets which led me to a big casino near the funicular place for the Harder Kulm Bahn.

Perhaps signage should be more specific. The gardens itself though once I found it was beautiful and well kept. I loved the Interlaken floral clock and fountain. Really wonderful. I love the bright colours. Very photogenic place to take pictures and popular...
