I Lanna Hotel: A Budget-Friendly Gem in Chiang Mai I Lanna Hotel offers a comfortable and affordable stay in the heart of Chiang Mai. While it may not be the most luxurious option, its friendly staff, clean rooms, and complimentary breakfast make it a great value for budget-conscious travelers. What We Loved: Friendly Staff: The staff at I Lanna were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They were always available to answer questions and offer assistance. Clean and Spacious Rooms: Our room was clean, spacious, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Free Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast, while basic, was a nice touch and provided a good start to the day. Excellent Value: I Lanna offers very competitive rates, making it an excellent choice for travelers on a budget. Areas for Improvement: Basic Breakfast: While the breakfast was appreciated, the options were quite basic. A wider variety of choices would be a welcome addition. Read moreMe and my partner stayed here for 3 nights in late June 2022 and we didn’t want to leave! i Lanna House is a lovely, cozy little oasis in the city. It has a small pool surrounded by greenery and we had a very cozy, charming room (we stayed in the room directly above the reception, which was very spacious, had a balcony and I believe the only room with a view of the pool!).

They also helped us book the excursions, such as visiting The Living Green Elephant Sanctuary on Doi Inthanon (an...

Even for UK standards, the rooms and amenities would rival that of a 4-star hotel. The staff are very kind and friendly, as it is a family run business they all pitch in.
After I hurt my knee, they moved me to a ground floor apartment and helped me cancel a trip. As well as carrying my luggage for me.
The free breakfast is also really nice. You get fresh fruit, steamed things, toast, cake as well as a hot breakfast.
The pool is small, but I enjoyed sitting on the sun loungers to soak in a little sun. It is generally quiet, but other guests can be audible in your room from communal areas. Most people are asleep...
