I came here with my boyfriend to get a manicure and a pedicure. The only reason I am giving this salon a star is because the actual service was decent. However, I had a terrible experience. I wanted to get a certain bright color on my nails because I was heading to Phuket for the weekend. The ladies at the salon scoffed at me and then began laughing at me for wanting such a bright color because my skin is dark. They kept putting it against my skin and saying “are you sure? Are you really sure?” And then bursting out laughing. My feelings were obviously hurt and I started to cry a little bit and said I would just get another color since they thought it looked so bad on me. So they took the color wheel and picked out a dark brown color, placed it against my skin and said “how about this one?!” And started dying of laughter again. I couldn’t believe how racist and rude they were being to me. My boyfriend and I were spending about $70 US dollars for our services and were being treated terribly. I think most people will not be phased by this review. However, if you are a dark skinned person, I would NOT recommend this place. They will laugh at you and make fun of you right in front of your face. I told them about how i felt after i paid and they didn’t even apologize. I left the salon in tears. This has been my worst experience at a nail salon and it’s unfortunate that it happened at a place so...
Read moreI asked for footscrub, the employee at the desk pointed at foot pedicure on the pamphlet. On there it said 350 baht for 60 minutes, I agreed and was directed to a comfy chair. Here I spent a little less than 10 minutes waiting for another employee to bring me a big bowl of warm water for my feet. Now I sat there alone with feet in water for 20 minutes, while I do have some patches of especially rough skin on my feet, the employees would not know this since they had not inspected my feet nor asked and I had not told them. Finally a lady came to work on my feet and while she did scrub some dead skin off of my feet it was only on the obvious soft areas with least rough and dead skin. Which means she deliberately neglected the areas which clearly needed it the most. Maybe I expect too much when thinking the staff of this establishment would be experienced and professional enough to notice where the areas of dead skin is visibly most concentrated. After 26 minutes of foot care the session ended without the staff telling me anything, so I asked the desk clerk to reduce payment as I did not fully receive any of the agreed and advertised services, suddenly she did not understand any english. Overall disappointing and a waste of time + money. Absolutely not worth it, will definitely recommend people go...
Read moreCan't help but notice they offer a discount for Google reviews!! Should not be allowed. Spent 1150 for shellac mani/pedi. Firstly, she did not push back the cuticles on my finger nails, so they looked terrible first go - on top of that, she failed to inform me that the opaque looking white a I had chosen would actually show up clear on my nails. It was quite the argument and manager intervention to have her correct the problems. She tried to tell me it was because I asked for a mini manicure and they don't touch cuticles unless it's a full manicure. This makes no sense, even for a simple polish change everywhere else I they will at least push back your cuticles so the colour doesn't go on looking uneven and cheap. Secondly the pedicurist barely buffed the bottom of me feet even though I asked twice if she could use a razor (have never had to ask before) and she refused. Bottoms of my feet still look and feel like crap. No lotion and no massage on hands nor feet (1150 bhat?!). The remainder of the time the girls were rude and snappy with me. Also rough, they made me bleed in two places around my cuticles. My nails look pretty decent AFTER all my complaining and micromanaging. For that price, cannot recommend. The salon is pretty and clean but the experience was...
