Dear Hotel Manager, Andaman Beach Suites Hotel Phuket,||I recently stayed at your hotel from May 6 to May 9, 2025, and would like to share some feedback based on my experience—both positive and negative.||1. Reception Experience – May 7 (Second Day):|On the second day of my stay, I approached the reception desk and asked for directions using a map on my phone. There were three staff members present. Two of them were unable to assist and referred me to a third staff member, whom I presume was their senior. Unfortunately, she responded in a harsh tone, saying, "It's very far—30 minutes from here—you can only take a tuk-tuk." I later found that my destination was only a 15-minute walk from the hotel. I was disappointed by the inaccurate information and the unfriendly manner in which it was delivered.||2. Parking Area Incident – May 8 (Third Day):|After watching the sunset, I returned to the hotel and parked my motorcycle. A short bald man in a blue uniform approached me and questioned whether I was checking in. I told him it was already my third day staying at the hotel. Without further explanation, he took a photo of my motorcycle and walked away. When I entered the main lobby shortly afterward, the same staff member was waiting with a colleague. I asked if I could proceed to the lift, and they only nodded in response. The lack of proper communication and friendliness in this situation made me feel uncomfortable.||3. Breakfast Area – Level 3:|On a positive note, I would like to sincerely thank the male manager at the Level 3 breakfast area. He was attentive, professional, and always greeted guests with a smile. I truly appreciated that he remembered my name and made me feel welcome every morning. His warm and respectful approach stood out during my stay.||However, I noticed that the female manager in the same area seemed to selectively greet guests and often avoided interaction. I believe that all guests should be acknowledged equally and made to feel welcome, regardless of background or appearance.||Overall Impression:|While I appreciated the hotel’s facilities and location, the inconsistent service and lack of customer care from some staff affected my overall experience. I hope this feedback will be taken constructively, as I believe there is room for improvement—particularly in terms of staff training and guest interaction.||Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to seeing improvements should I choose to stay again...
Read moreAfter arriving late at night in Thailand, we realised we could not stay in the place we had booked. It was up a filthy alleyway, with rats running in the streets (didn't see this anywhere else in Thailand and this is my fifth trip) and our booked accommodation was AWFUL. So first thing the following morning we headed out to find somewhere else to stay, bearing in mind we needed almost three weeks' accommodation starting 24 December/Christmas Eve/peak season. We tried a couple of places but they had no availability. Our third try we found Andaman Beach Suites and were surprised they had availability but they did. The front counter staff were amazing, showed us the rooms and facilities and gave us a discount for a medium-term stay, so it worked out to be not much more than the cesspit we had left behind. We were so happy to find a clean place in a nice area, close to the nice end of Patong Beach and all the shops and restaurants. There is a cat cafe just down the road. We went there almost daily (often they were out of treats for the cats so we took our own). Rainbow Road is just down the end of the street which was awesome. We didn't use the gym but it was nice to know we had that option. We mostly swam - firstly in the pools at Andaman. I think they do need a little update, as do some of the bathrooms and balconies (walking out to the airconditioner fan heat just outside the balcony door) but that's about all we could complain about. The buffet breakfast (included in the cost of our rooms) was a daily must-do. The regular cereals, pastries and fresh fruits, plus omelettes made to order and a mixture of heated Thai and continental foods, with some changes daily to mix it up. Even the housekeeping and restaurant staff were wonderful and friendly. We will always remember Andaman as our 'saving grace' at a time when we really needed it. We left some blow-up pool floaties there for others to enjoy. Even though there's a sign saying not to use them, no-one ever told us not to. The poolside bar is also awesome - great Pina Coladas, but the opening hours are limited. I would happily stay here again as it was such a pleasant experience. We could even see the ocean from the balconies and the frequent...

This was a first for me in all my hotel stays, and it raised trust concerns.Despite this incident, I loved overall experience in this Hotel. The pros far outweighed the cons, and I appreciate the hotel's efforts to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay.Recommendation:To management: Please address this housekeeping issue to ensure guests' trust and security. To potential guests: Don't let this incident deter you.
