I’ve no clue why this comes as a top result for best breakfast spots. If you’re white yea, they accept you with warm greetings and smiles, ridiculous! It’s the small things that counts, came in and had absolutely zero acknowledgment, lady who took the order wasn't attentive, straight up concludes that we’re both ordering the english set! Thank god I didn’t order that, it was a sad plate, and the weirdest tasting herb sausage I’ve had in my life. It came with 2 pancakes, you’d think butter comes default to pancakes but no! It’s an additional fee to get butter, lol.. in all fairness, the pancake was ok, you know those out of the box pancake mixes from the grocery, tasted exactly like those. The bacon was the highlight of both dishes, crispy, not bad.. bagel was meh, it was basic!! Pricing is like Aussie/Singaporean based, this is what I pay for an acceptable and good breakfast in those countries, but sadly, not here..
Overpriced for such small portions! Bagel with no cream cheese and pancake with a chargeable butter, lol
And ooo, payment time, I got completely ignored so the lady can go get the order of another table, made me wait a ridiculous 10mins for her to finish her rounds, owner however acknowledged and said wait after like 4mins of standing there like an idiot
Positive point: they have equal for your...
Read moreAfter a week of Thai cuisine, my group wanted something different. Well, this hit the spot.
We ordered herb chicken ciabatta sandwich, classic burger with fries and soda (combo meal), and roast beef focaccia (double meat). We were still delightfully satisfied with the flavors and freshness of the ingredients (even though we read and saw the other reviews).
I had ordered the roast beef sandwich. Everything about it was American flavor, except for the amount of roast beef. When I saw the pictures on other reviews, it only showed a slither of roast beef so I decided to order the double meat. And boy—it was only an extra slice to the sandwich. It might be a cultural portion than what I’m used to in the States. I just thought it didn’t match the thickness of the bread. However, it didn’t take away from the fresh toasted bread and overall sandwich. I’d give this a 9.5/10.
My favorite was the herb chicken sandwich. Everything from the flavor, to the portion, and bread was 10/10! I would come back for this! I personally love ciabatta bread and can eat it with everything.
The burger tasted legit American burger. The bread is amazing and fluffy. Tasted like a standard burger. I’d give this a 10/10.
Also ordered drinks - my kid ordered a chocolate frappe and loved it, and the Thai ice tea...
Read moreWhat a great find here in Patong! I was in the mood for something light to eat, didn’t know what, was strolling and saw this inviting shop. A friendly woman beckoned me inside, holding open the door with a big smile. She invited me to look at their offerings and almost immediately my eyes spotted a triple decker tuna salad sandwich on toasted wheat bread. I’m from the USA, and tuna sandwiches are a staple in our house. And I’ve tried mixing up my tuna salad different ways, I have yet to come up with one quite this good! The mix was perfect, paired with lettuce and fresh tomato, all on three delicious toasted wheat bread slices. I paired my sandwich with a mixed berry smoothie, also delicious. They have a small dessert case that had some great looking cheesecakes, brownies, cake slices, and pastry, but I was just looking for something light. I’ll try something from the case next time, because there will definitely be a next time. Check this place out, the prices are very reasonable and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. Oh — and they have all day breakfast too! It doesn’t get any...
