Pots Pints & Tikis — Restaurant in Patong

The first impression: nice bar, but less guests. The second impression: it becomes clear why less guests visit this bar.

Only 2 stars - although the cocktail tastes nice.

Why? More then one reason…

Reason 1: The ordering process. Digital with images of the cocktails. Great at first, poorly implemented in detail. There is no ingredient of the cocktails in the QR code menu. Only after repeated requests was there a printed replacement card.

Reason 2: The prices are at the upper limit for this location. And suddenly, when placing the online order, still service fee and taxes come on top. And the cocktail - each one - is unexpectedly almost 20% more expensive. Outrageous for this area. Above all: ordering online, a staff who cannot explain the cocktails - but ask for a service fee. An impudence. And even if the regulation with the tax and the service fee is in the small print. Let's be honest: who reads the small print when the prices and all other things are printed in large and normal.

Reason 3: Just 10 Guests on the Bar. But we waited 35 Minutes for our two Cocktails! 35 Minutes! In a Holiday area. In a Bar without Guest. Really?

Reason 4: The process of payment. No more words about this. A service fee is charged on the bill. And the staff still stands next to the change waiting for a tip on top of this.

I am many times per year in Thailand and Patong. I have a lot of friends there too. Some of them live there. And we are looking always for good places. It’s sad this one will not come on our list with nice and good places.

A Gem of a Restaurant – Thanks to Husna!

I cannot recommend Pots Pints Tikis enough – this place is an absolute delight! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by an atmosphere that is both vibrant and cozy. The décor, the music, and the overall vibe immediately transport you to a tropical paradise. It’s the kind of place you never want to leave.

Now, let’s talk about the food – 10/10 without a doubt. Every dish bursts with flavor, and the presentation is impeccable. Whether you’re indulging in their signature dishes or trying something new, you can taste the passion and creativity behind every bite. It’s rare to find a place where each meal feels like a culinary experience, but Pots Pints Tikis delivers this consistently.

But the true star of the show? Husna. Husna is the heart and soul of this restaurant. Her warmth, charm, and attentiveness elevate the entire dining experience. She has this incredible way of making every guest feel special and welcomed. Whether you’re a regular or visiting for the first time, Husna treats you like family. Her smile lights up the room, and her professionalism is top-notch. I’d give her 100/10 if I could – she’s truly a rare gem in the service industry.

If you’re looking for a spot that combines delicious food, a fantastic atmosphere, and outstanding service – Pots Pints Tikis is the place to be. And if you’re lucky enough to have Husna take care of you, you’re in for an unforgettable experience.

The fact that this place has an average rating closer to 4 stars than to 5 stars leads me to seriously doubt the validity of the local food reviewers. I ate here every other day as I was staying in the attached hotel as part of the sandbox program. The wagyu burger, which I ate several times, is incredible and is one of the best burgers I have had on any continent at any price. I am a native New Yorker and the pizza is quite good as well--it's thin crust style, cooked in what appears to be an actual pizza oven that you can smell if you are eating in the restaurant. The fries are cut thin so you can eat them hot without burning your mouth and come with parm cheese sprinkled on and dipping cheese on the side. The cocktails are real cocktails. The pad thai is good and comes with cute little condiment containers. The ambiance is relaxed and airy for lunch and is swanky with live music for dinner. Every dish has elevated presentation. It's a great place for a date or just to drink alone....
