Booked one night with booking and selected the wrong date (it was past midnight and I booked for a day after). I sent an email straight after when I realized my mistake asking if it would be possible to change the date to the earlier day. My email got ignored so at 11am I called and it took them a while to find the reservation and understand the issue. 10 minutes into the conversation they hang up on me and said to call again later which I found extremely rude. When I called again they said that they couldn’t change the reservation, that the double room I booked was reserved on that night and it was my fault so there was nothing they could do. I acknowledged that it was my mistake and I said I would be fine to be downgraded to two beds in a shared room instead and they told me they did have two beds available that night but that I would have to pay for them. I had literally just booked the room when I told them about the mistake so it’s not that they prepared an extra room for us and didn’t show up. I find this lack of understanding very indicative of the way they are only interested in getting more money out of an honest mistake without providing any...

When comparing with the convenient location and price that you pay is more and most best chosen one But there is no amities or anything inside . If you love to spend whole day in your hostel ,it may not be your best answer. But for me, I just want to sleep at night only ...it s best choice. The room not clean much , I guess they don't change new bed sheet as I chose female dorm so it s not much bad but can't image if I select mixed dorm. Bathroom is quite clean also for female floor. Service not much good, if you want towel, you need to ask staff coz it s not prepared on your bed . However its location is perfect on the main street easy to walk to Khaosan only 4 mins. Everyone nearby knows where it is. It s small hostel not much clean, not good service but not bad for short stay. Mosquitoes a lot so good to wear long pants and sleeves even I wore them , still lot of pimples on my body and also short bed for me. I m not sure for male ,the bed is comfortable for...

I hate to rate this hostel so low, but I was fooled by nice pictures. The hostel is old, smelly, and just unclean. Thai's are extremely clean, so I was shocked when I arrived. Firstly, this place is NOT owned by Thai's. PROS: the rooms do have AC and the bed was decent for a night. CONS: this place was HOT 🌞, no AC except for in the room, the "lounge area" is small, sticky, and dirty. I literally didn't want to eat in there, but had to. The kitchen, OMG, was unacceptable. Its very loud. You can feel the bass vibrating the walls as you sleep from the music. Lastly, the restrooms 🚻 smell, humid, and constantly wet. The shower 🚿 and the toilet are together, and if someone showers, it soaks the toilets and stays wet unless you clean it. 🤮. If you need to make your money stretch, maybe check this place out, but honestly, there are much better options like Here We Go Bangkok, Comfort Bed, and...

BED BUGS!! Do not stay. We had a pretty unpleasant stay in Mind Day Hostel, there is horrible odour wafting through the entire hostel the shower water smells of ammonia and the handles and fixtures are in the toilets/showers were more or less all faulty or broken. We also found bed bugs in 2 of 3 beds, we went straight down to reception with photos and asked to be moved, we were moved but asked to leave our bags in the room infested with bed bugs for the night, putting them at risk of being infested. The next day we realised all 3 of us had been badly bitten, we asked for a refund to compensate us having to wash all of our clothes but we were refused and laughed at. They also showed little care to solve the issue and put people straight into our infested beds the next morning. Do not stay here.

I had to leave the hostel with an incident I experienced today. I took off my shoes on my way to my room in the evening, I put our requests to leave on the floor. When I woke up in the morning, I saw my shoes soaked and pitch black. When I asked the person in charge, no one even wanted to answer. Finally, a boy with long hair came and shouted at me and said that if your shoes were not lost, no problem, he walked on me and tried to hit my hand. He added that if I don't like it, I can go. Of course, I left the hostel immediately and informed the police about the matter, but it was the worst experience of my life. I have been traveling for a long time, I have stayed in many hostels in many countries, I have never seen anything like this in my life. I never recommend it.
