The day time service is perfect! Pong and the hostess were amazing and the food here was my favorite part of my entire trip!

Unfortunately on my way out I stopped by at nighttime for the first time, to get my favorite menu item before I had to leave the country. A waiter with braces took my order, rice balls and Drinks. He brought the drinks, took the menus.. and then after waiting for some time I asked for the order to go, my flight was coming soon. He responded that I never ordered. I was so confused. I ended up having to leave Bangkok still dreaming of those amazing rice balls and extremely broken hearted at the waiter who claimed I never ordered. He gave me a 15% discount for the drinks he managed to bring but that does nothing for those burning hole in my heart for the amazing food I’m probably never going to have a chance at again :’( Definitely come here, but do it in the day time.

Edit** I was so emotional when I wrote this hahaha and purposely being dramatic bc I loved the food so much and was truly sad about what happened. Thank you so much for writing me back and please enjoy rice balls as much as possible, on behalf of the dramatic girl that will always be thinking...

The food was correct, but we were surprised that the waiter frequently filled our glasses with water and immediately asked us to bring another bottle of water. In short, everything was going very well until unusual things began to happen... we still hadn't finished dinner when the waiter appeared with a sign with the QR for us to give him a positive assessment online. We thought to make a positive review but when we asked for the bill we were surprised. They charged us 320 baths for 2 waters when normally they are worth 20-40 eur baths maximum each! No wonder the waiter was interested in filling our glasses and asking us to ask for more water... We told the waitress that we agreed with the price of the water and she replied that it was mineral water... in short, like the rest of the restaurants we have gone during the 15 days of our stay in Thailand. We have made 30 meals and they have only ripped us off in this last one. It is very sad that they cheat with the drink and less with the water. 2 bottles about 7.5 eur when in other places we would have paid a maximum of 2-3 eur. The young waiter only wanted us to drink beer and the most expensive. Very...

Hot and bothered and annoyed at taking rip-off Tourist Information tuk tuk, we slipped into Tani.bkk Restaurant and Bar on Thanee Rd nr Khaosan Rd, to cool down..

What an absolute gem of a bar! We watched my cocktails being expertly made by the lovely and wonderfully, cool as a cucumber, Ice (yes, that’s her name 🥰). Every step was made with precision, right down to selecting the tropical flowers. Absolute perfection 👌🏼 Hubby was delighted with range of draught IPA so we stayed put and ordered dinner.

We had observed the presentation and attention to detail of each meal that left the kitchen and the flavours were exceptional. If we’d stayed in Bangkok longer we wouldn’t have eaten anywhere else!

Sad to be missing the live music on the rooftop this evening but will definitely be back and staying in the Hotel Ember which is part of this new start up.

Keep the standards high and you’ll smash the competition out of...

I can't believe that on Kaosarn roads there is a place like this where they even have real coffee ( You understand what I mean by real! ), inside the building is super beautiful and clean of course with an aircon on like a different world from outside lol 😂 staff very friendly. During the day is the restaurant and cafe which has a community space for me to get some work done, at night it becomes a wine bar with various wines with Open kitchen that you can see what they are doing inside how clean is it I have no worries at all.

Major disappointing Ordered fried rice Australia beef, it was super salty and a tiny portion. But the beef was of good quality. We specifically requested no sugar for the shrimp pad Thai and it was sweeter than street pad Thai. Nothing special or remotely tasty here. The plate of wings were ok, small portion and size. Beef salad was also just okay. Draft beer was ok. The seating and atmosphere is nice, choice of music, not sure. Only the plating was very nice. Over priced and not special at all.

I discovered this delightful spot while wandering the area on an empty stomach late at night when most places were closed. It was a pleasant surprise! The staff were incredibly friendly and even suggested a delicious dish that perfectly complemented their signature beer. I enjoyed a heartwarming dinner, and the charming ambience, adorned with lovely paintings and decor, enhanced the experience. I'm truly grateful to the staff for their hospitality and look forward to returning!
