Hotel Ligos — Hotel in Fatih

All in all the Hotel was actually nice, apart from having a horrible view of a construction site. The lobby is very boring and small. The rooms were clean superficially, however, we found old used Burger King wrappers underneath the bed. It‘s enough for a city visit, breakfast and sleeping. We were happy with it until the manager (that‘s what he calls himself) approached us (three girls travelling alone) and out of the blue overstepped and asked questions like „WHAT YOU ARE MUSLIM??? Why would you wear a Burkini?“, he then went to my friend and instantly asked her: do you wear a Bikini or Burkini for swimming? Nobody wears Burkinis ew.

The lack of respect for Muslims in a Muslim country is extremely shameful, disrespectful, and highly embarrassing, thus deserves naming and shaming. We were disgusted by such questions which is why it was super uncomfortable having to cross ways with that guy in the lobby every single day. To make it worse, he never even apologized for misbehaving. I do NOT recommend this hotel for girls. And then on the day of our departure we were promised a transfer to the airport because we had to be there at 6am. He fell asleep in the Lobby, so we had to touch his shoulder to wake him up. Turns out even the driver overslept :) he then luckily managed to organize another transfer free of charge (as it should be). We won‘t ever visit that hotel again because even the breakfast...

Horrible experience! I won’t recommend you this hotel at all, poor quality service and awful customer service! I was given a room opposite to the reception which was so noisy, and i couldn’t sleep at all during my stay, i made a complain to the receptionist but they refused to allocate me a new room. How can you have one room opposite to the reception? How can you think it’s right for client to be up all night cause of your noises coming from the TV at the reception and also heating client coming and leaving at anytime of the night? My last night there I had to come out from my room to ask the receptionist to tell the client to stop screaming on his phone call! This is so embarrassing! At was so excited to spend few days at your hotel and rest but this was a nightmare. The hotel description is absolutely a lie and they won’t tell you there is Rooms located right next to the reception, until you reach there and you will have no other option to take it. Don’t be fooled by the good rate of this hotel. There is plenty other hotels around the area where you will be able to sleep and enjoy your holiday. Just stay away...
