The hotel is in a very good location (5 minutes walk to Hagia Sophia / Blue Mosque / Basilica Cisterna). The view from our room was very nice (Marmaris Sea and Hagia Sophia). The room was spacious and fully equipped with mini fridge, tv, air conditioning, safe, plentu of seating area, etc. Daily room cleanup service & fresh towels. There is a terrace with a beautiful view of the Marmaris Sea, where breakfast is served between 8-11 AM. Good WiFi in all the hotel zones. Very friendly and helpful staff (ask at the reception for Bosphorous tours, hammam, pre-paid sim card, etc). Two things were less than ideal: the sound-proofing and the breakfast. In the morning, when everyone got up and went via staircase to the terrace to serve breakfast, the noise was quite disturbing if you wanted to sleep in a little bit more (and also lots of noise from slammed doors .. this could tell more about the guests than the hotel itself). As for the breakfast, it was good but could be easily improved: the hot food was scarce (around 10 o'clock, only sausages were available) - maybe refill the hot food trays more often, the tea options could be enhanced - just add a few more options besides english breakfast, little things...
Read moreAmazing place to stay! Their rooms are clean and there is always the cleaning lady coming around 11 am. You have everything in the rooms, mini fridge, complimentary beverages, a safe where to put your valuables, you have a very comfortable bed. The wifi was not the strongest but what's very important is that at the reception you can get a turkish tourist sim card which is going to be 50% cheaper than the one at the airport. Their sim cards are respectively: 15 GB at around 30 euros/usd and 25 GB for 35 euros/usd=== you will need to withdraw exactly these amounts but in Liras and give them to the reception (they will wait few days for the payment no worries).
The Highlight of this place is that the receptionists are super friendly. Also, the reception is open 24/7 so it's great.
Their terrace is just AMAZING. Their breakfast is very good as well and you will be able to see the financial district from the window or even if staying outside.
Overall, I had a very good experience and it's totally worth the price since it's located right by Agia Sophia and the...
Read moreWe stayed in this boutique hotel in Sultanahmet area for a couple of nights in June 2023. The location can't be any better! If you walk 10 minutes east from the hotel entrance, you will reach the shores of Bosphorous strait. If you walk westwards instead, you will reach the area of Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia in about 10 minutes. If you walk north, you will reach Topkapi museum in about 3 minutes. The Sultanmehmet T1 tramway station is also thus very close by. There are myriads of restaurants in every nook and corner of this hotel. If you are coming by car, parking maybe bit of a challenge, but the hotel guys can help you on that. Lokman and another caretaker (I forgot his name) have been very helpful. The breakfast ij the terrace was again awesome and the views are stunning! You won't get this kind of experience in Sultanmehmet if you stay in an international chain hotel, for example. The rooms are a bit small, but neat and tidy. Worth every penny! I will visit...
