After eating here, I had food poising the next day 😢😢
We went there after we promised the guy outside that we would come the next day, WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. Were greeted by a gentleman outside and seated he handed us over to serving staff there was other customer sitting with 2 younger females and the two serving guys were all over them didn't payed much attention to us, we placed our order, they brought Turkish Bread with some fresh chilli/salsa sauce, we asked for more sauce 4 times to guy I circled in one of the picture (I think his name was Musa but not sure) and other waiter, our request was ignored, it took almost an hour before our food was served (after we asked where is our food), the lamb Shish was not hot (but warm which suggest that our food was ready but was not served immediately), bulgur wheat was very oily and chewy which means it was either prepared long time ago and reheated in oil pan ie shallow fried not steamed or boiled. The vegetarian pizza was fresh and tasty despite requesting chilli sauce numerous times, eventually the second waiter brought tomato sauce when said I want other chilli sauce he took tomato sauce back and brought it back with some spices added (this can clearly be seen in the picture of the sauce in the white plate) the sauces tasted like a vinegar it not edible at all. They also added tax in our bill, which is not mentioned anywhere in the restaurant or on the menu cards. We are supposed to get 2 free mezze dishes with our mains and baklava with Turkish tea after dinner, but nothing was provided.
All in all, it's really bad service with no attention to the customers unless you are a young female.
Would I recommend this restaurant? - No
It's better to go to other restaurants like TURGUT 2 mins walk...
Read moreTip-top reviews for this neighborhood restaurant in Instanbul brought my husband and I in for the meal, but the truly excellent dishes, staff personality and presentation of the food made it a memory to treasure for a lifetime. All of the staff there made us feel welcome, but our server Feroo made our experience exceptional. His gregarious personality and dedication to making our clay-pottery-on-fire-meal special, translated into a top-notch dance presentation he invited me to join. It was sheer fun and made for a great social media post. The music was surprisingly carefree and upbeat as well. This restaurant is perfect for a romantic date or larger group or single traveler. All will feel happy and welcome and full upon leaving. And all will have a story to tell. We...

We do not recommend.
We were a family of 4 and all we had was an appetizer, 4 lemonades, 2 waters and we shared a meat platter for 3. They gave us some warm watermelon and a dessert for free at the end, which we thought was nice.
However, when the bill came, it was almost $200!! For food that was not even that good. We were shocked.
We came here because of all the great Google reviews, however we were thinking later that what they do is they give you these small freebies at the end of your meal and then they ask you to give them a Google review. That’s probably how they have so many reviews on here.
We thought it was a ripoff, a very expensive tourist trap unfortunately. We would...
