After a long journey to Istanbul, my husband and I finally arrived to our hotel around 2am. Once getting settled in, we decided to go see what food and drink options were available to us. Understandably, everyone started closing down early due to it being a low traffic time. We walked up to this place and saw the workers enjoying time together after their shift had ended. As we were standing there trying to figure out if they were open or not we heard Galip say “come on in!” We sat down and ordered a glass of wine but unfortunately they were not serving food (which is the only reason I gave zero stars for food but I will definitely be back tomorrow to try the food), as they had already closed down for the night. However, Galip must have seen how tired and hungry we both were as he offered to order food from somewhere else for us. NEVER would I have expected him to do that for us …. Not only did he open up after already closing down for the day, but to offer to order food from somewhere else and have someone pick it up for us …. That is what I call GREAT SERVICE!!! In addition to that, he chatted with us and gave us great recommendations on where to go in this beautiful city. Galip, if you read this …. Thank you for making my husband and I feel like family! One of the worst gastronomic experiences in Istanbul. Based on the reviews, we went to the restaurant with 4 of us. When we arrived, we asked how long the kitchen was open. It turned out that there was no kitchen on site, the food was brought in from somewhere else. The lentil soup we ordered from the menu looked like a floury vegetable soup, and we couldn't even order a hamburger at all, because everyone in the area had run out of hamburger meat... ?!?!? How can you run a restaurant without a kitchen? We wanted to have dinner, but it didn't work out. The price of the shisha was also misleading, the price on the street was no longer valid once we sat down, of course, after a complaint, they corrected it on the bill. I don't...
