I had the pleasure of dining at Bistro BrusQ, located on Akbıyık Street in Sultan Ahmet, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The ambiance of the place was inviting and relaxing, setting the perfect tone for an enjoyable meal. The highlight for me was trying the Bomonti draft, which added a delightful touch to the evening.
What truly stood out, however, was the impeccable service provided by the staff. Their warmth, friendliness, and genuine hospitality created a welcoming atmosphere that enhanced the overall dining experience. The team at Bistro BrusQ demonstrated a remarkable attention to detail, and their willingness to go above and beyond truly set this establishment apart.
The menu offered a diverse selection of dishes, each prepared with a careful balance of flavors and presented with an aesthetic appeal. From appetizers to main courses, the culinary expertise showcased in every bite was evident. The staff's knowledge of the menu and their recommendations further added to the overall satisfaction of the meal.
Moreover, the restaurant's commitment to maintaining a humble and approachable environment was evident in every interaction. Despite the excellence in service and culinary offerings, there was a refreshing lack of pretentiousness, making the experience all the more enjoyable.
In conclusion, Bistro BrusQ is a hidden gem in Sultan Ahmet, offering not just a meal but a memorable dining experience. I wholeheartedly commend the establishment for its outstanding service, delightful ambiance, and culinary excellence. If you're seeking a place where attention to detail and customer satisfaction are paramount, Bistro BrusQ is undoubtedly...
Read moreAfter a long journey to Istanbul, my husband and I finally arrived to our hotel around 2am. Once getting settled in, we decided to go see what food and drink options were available to us. Understandably, everyone started closing down early due to it being a low traffic time. We walked up to this place and saw the workers enjoying time together after their shift had ended. As we were standing there trying to figure out if they were open or not we heard Galip say “come on in!” We sat down and ordered a glass of wine but unfortunately they were not serving food (which is the only reason I gave zero stars for food but I will definitely be back tomorrow to try the food), as they had already closed down for the night. However, Galip must have seen how tired and hungry we both were as he offered to order food from somewhere else for us. NEVER would I have expected him to do that for us …. Not only did he open up after already closing down for the day, but to offer to order food from somewhere else and have someone pick it up for us …. That is what I call GREAT SERVICE!!! In addition to that, he chatted with us and gave us great recommendations on where to go in this beautiful city. Galip, if you read this …. Thank you for making my husband and I feel like family! We will never forget this special experience that you gave us and the way you made us feel!!!! If you are in the area, I highly recommend you give this place a try. If your experience is anything like ours, you will remember it for a lifetime! Thank you again Galip for the great...
Read moreOne of the worst gastronomic experiences in Istanbul. Based on the reviews, we went to the restaurant with 4 of us. When we arrived, we asked how long the kitchen was open. It turned out that there was no kitchen on site, the food was brought in from somewhere else. The lentil soup we ordered from the menu looked like a floury vegetable soup, and we couldn't even order a hamburger at all, because everyone in the area had run out of hamburger meat... ?!?!? How can you run a restaurant without a kitchen? We wanted to have dinner, but it didn't work out. The price of the shisha was also misleading, the price on the street was no longer valid once we sat down, of course, after a complaint, they corrected it on the bill. I don't...
