My fiancee and I were excited about this property as it was in a good location and affordable; however, it ended up being a nightmare experience, and we were treated - without a doubt - worse than we have ever been treated by any hotel. 1. Our room was not ready by our 2pm check-in time and we had to wait until 3:30. 2. The first room we were taken to was in the basement where toilet paper and cleaning supplies were kept. There were 2 single beds, a large pipe that ran low across the ceiling, and a small window that looked onto the sidewalk above. We told the hotel manager this was not the room we booked. 3. He was remarkably unapologetic. Only after we showed him pictures of the room we booked via Expedia did he reluctantly agree to take us to another room. The second room was not much better than the first. It was barely big enough for a double bed to fit, there was no hot water, and the sheets were dirty. We again told him this was not the room that we booked 4. He took us to the third room, while complaining that he was doing us a favor and saying that this was our last chance. The third room was, in fact, the room we booked; however, when I went to check if there was hot water in the bathroom, the hotel manager started yelling at me telling me there was hot water. I told him I simply wanted to make sure. He yelled louder, got closer to me, and shouted at me to feel the hot water. 5. We didn't feel safe in this hotel, in a foreign country, so we stayed at another hotel

Very good hotel. Exceeded expectations. I have stayed in Istanbul in this area many times and the hotels have always been terrible. So our expectations were not very good, especially since the price was low. Imagine our surprise to see a great room. It was big enough for three people. Everything was clean, bed linen, towels. Very clean bathroom, no mold, it felt like it had been renovated recently. The refrigerator and kettle were very useful. We went up to the terrace and had breakfast there. Of course, the location is great! We ate several times at the Dimbil Restaurant, it was delicious and inexpensive (from the hotel, 30-50 meters to the right, the restaurant will be the first on the left). Once a week (Wednesday or Thursday) there is a street mini-bazaar next to the hotel, where you can buy Turkish sweets much cheaper than in the Egyptian and Grand Bazaars (about 100 meters to the left of the hotel). Disadvantages. Terrible pillows. They are just lumps in a pillowcase. The door to the balcony did not close tightly, on the first night the sounds were very disturbing until 2 am - screams, noise, barking dogs. But from the second night we slept well, because we were very tired. These downsides didn't spoil the impression, so I give it the highest score.

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. WORST experience ever. The hotel is HORRIBLE. The stuff is VERY rude and unapologetic, especially the old guy. There was an emergency exit in the room that gives access to internal stairs and where all the ventilation machines are located. The door wasn’t even locked. We couldn’t sleep because of the horrible noise coming from ventilation. When we complained to the stuff at 3 am, we were told that no other room was available. And the next in the morning, we asked again and the lot guy told us that it is normal and that we should « walk a lot » during the day so that we « get tired » and sleep despite the noise. UNBELIEVABLE !!! We left right away without even getting reimbursed. This should be called « DREADFUL Hotel »
