Read moreWe arrived to the hotel late at night but we were met with very welcoming reception staff who walked us through the hotel offerings and took us to our room. The cave nature of the hotel was beautiful as was our cave room. We were surprised, given that this is a prestigous hotel, that there were limited amenities in our room and that the safe did not work. Nonetheless we did not let that bother us. We explored every part of the hotel including its rooftop bar and the stunning lounger terraces which are furnished with beautiful rugs and cushions to enjoy the views overlooking Goreme town. The hotel was very well located for us to access the town and get to different restaurants and shops on foot. On one day, we were out the entire day but our room was not cleaned and on another, staff were fixing something in the adjacent room and making a big noise - some things for the hotel to brush up on. The breakfast spread was delicious, however it was the same every day. Another suggestion that the hotel should change up the breaksfast menu every few days. The restaurant and bar staff were lovely but had a limited understanding of english. The reception staff were wonderful and very helpful in helping us co-ordinating our activities. In fact, from the time I confirmed our booking, they were in touch with me on Whatsapp immediately, which was nice. Quick Tip: The hotel can arrange private or group transfers. Use the group transfers as it is much cheaper and you will make your flight on time because all users of the transfer would be collected and would be transferring for the...
Read moreIt was my parents and my first time staying at Cappadocia Cave Suites and we had a great time.
We stayed in the family suite which was so comfortable. The beds, bathroom, common areas were good and we had no complaints.
The service was EXCEPTIONAL. The receptionists were always available and went above and beyond to help us. It was raining one day and we needed to go have dinner, but no taxi service was available due to the rain. The hotel themselves took us to the restaurant and we later found out that the person who drove us was actually the owner. We were floored by how humble and kind he was to take time out of his day to help us. They were very prompt and helpful with any requests we had such as room service, calling a taxi for us, arranging the airport shuttle.
The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the busy area with the bazaar and all the restaurants. The proximity is so convenient for guests, especially ones with children or elderly. It was a safe walk even while it was raining.
Their terrace is also beautiful and we look forward to watching hot air balloons tomorrow if the weather permits.
The included breakfast is also good, they offer everything from fruits to pastries to omelettes, salami, different kinds of bread, etc. My personal favorite things from their breakfast were the pastries and coffee. I wish my work place would get the Nescafé coffee machine they have because the coffee was so good!
I highly recommend you stay at this beautiful hotel as the service, location, and rooms are...
