I stumbled upon this charming little restaurant during my visit to Cappadocia and was thoroughly impressed. The service was fast, and the staff were incredibly friendly, making me feel right at home. I tried Turkish “ravioli” (mantis) for the first time, and it was amazing. These tiny meat-filled dumplings, covered in a delicious sour cream-like sauce, were bursting with flavor. Couldn’t go wrong with the beef meatballs as well. Exactly how we imagined it to taste and it delivered.
What really stood out to me, though, was the care the staff showed for the stray animals in the area. The kitchen made some extra meat, and I watched as the owner personally fed the cats and dogs outside. It was heartwarming to see the locals taking such good care of the animals, and it added an extra layer of warmth to the experience. It honestly made my meal taste that much better. Highly recommend this place for the food and the...
Read moreWorst food in our entire 2 week trip in Turkey. I am sorry to provide such a poor rating for a restaurant where the service staff are working hard to keep diners happy but it’s really hard to look beyond the extremely poor food quality and that too on item recommended by them. The added disappointment came from the fact that they had a rating of 4.7 when we came but then you look at a lot of the recent ratings and they are very poor. So kind of felt like being misled somewhere by the ratings.
Only thing that was ok was the rooftop view but again it was ruined by multiple cats coming to the table for food and the whole table shaking every time someone walked up the steps.
Food- as you can see from the photos- the lamb chops had only fat and bones. Never seen such poorly cut lamb chop pieces. The adana kebab was so dry that it felt like it was microwaved after bring brought...
Read moreWe found this great place by searching the net and reading people's reviews. And believe me, you are not gonna regret eating here. The food was great and we loved the atmosphere. We ordered Ravioli, Sheet Pan, Chicken Shish and Crunchy Snacks. All were too darn good and yummy 😋 The prices were fair and affordable. At first we were confused about seeing a couple of color pencils at the table but when we saw the uncolored balloon sheets on the table we got the idea! Loveeeeed it! 🥰 We were so tired and didn't color the balloons but I colored it a little and the owner of the restaurant was kind enough to give me a little star for that ✨️ 😀 The waiter was an Afghan guy, he was soooo friendly and polite. We forgot to ask his name and sorry about that. I recommend this place to all and if I ever travel back there I will definitely grab a bite at the Pal's Kitchen. Thanks...
