We stayed here from 14 to 17 september there were positives and negatives in this hotel Positive: Decent hotel, amazing breakfast Central location( close to goreme main streets ) the girl on 16 th September at the service desk and the guy during check out were very good and helpful. The staff spoke with a car rental agency in Turkish fr us.
Negatives
Just 2 incidents marred the stay here for us . On 14 th September we were forced to arrive late due to delays of aircraft and taxi breakdowns. We reached late 10 pm with 2 toddlers .Our airport transfer driver ( local turk guy )struggled to find the hotel. We called the hotel for directions and no one picked calls. After trying a lot no one wanted to help. Then someone on the road gave directions and our driver was still not able to find it. So we searched fr one hour almost and we were left to search on our own. Then we ourselves scouted the area and finally found a tiny road leading to this hotel. Compared to other better hotels in turkey we paid most fr this hotel. We were in talks with the hotel fr balloon ride. It was initially offered fr 200 Euros pp. But then the hotel told we can get best price on a later date so we waited they got it fr us fr 180 Euros . We were naive and thought it was a great price. We went to the balloon ride and the ride was fabulous but all others in the balloon had paid 130 to 140 Euros ( arranged through their respective hotels) but we got ripped off royally by our hotel. We were 4 adults and they made a 200 Euro out of our gullible nature and foolishness.
Our balloon ride gave us a champagne at the end of the ride . Other balloon companies were giving their customers a snack ,water bottle and juice and champagne at the end of the ride. So we paid more fr lesser service. Very tiny rooms. All in all a below average experience at this hotel .I am sure other hotels will be a...
Read moreI stayed at this lovely hotel for four nights. It's located slightly up a hill but not all the way up, so it made it very easy to get away from all the hustle & bustle of the tourists on the main street, but yet still have the charm & proximity to beautiful architecture, restaurants and shopping. The staff is very accommodating, and the environment is very chill. In addition, there are two little furry staff members, sometimes three, who will run the courtyard and keep you company.Upon checking in, they informed me that if I wanted to include breakfast with my stay, all I needed to do was let them know how many times I dined at checkout. Also, I needed laundry to be done, therefore dropped it off in the morning by 10:00 a.m. and had it back by early evening. They also said just pay upon checkout. They are very trusting! No one checks you at the restaurant for your room number! One load was $10€, but I will say don't expect them to fold everything. I dropped everything off in my own laundry bag, and it was pretty much shoved back in there! You also have to be specific with what you want hung dry too. They have an iron in the reception area should you need it.The rooms are nicely decorated in a rustic style. It's a decent size, but they are rather dark. I had a hard time putting on makeup before going out. 😂 The bed was rather comfy. The water pressure was absolutely fantastic, and the water gets hot quick too!!There are several delicious restaurants within 2 to 3 minutes walking distance ... Taste of Mama (Gözleme), Omru (rooftop), TUMA (rooftop), INCI, and Keyif (rooftop & great music). Overall, a very pleasant stay in a lovely location. I would...
Read more🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Our stay at Century Cave Hotel in Göreme was truly one of the highlights of our trip — not only because of the stunning cave room, the cozy atmosphere, or the delicious food (which were all exceptional), but most of all because of the genuine care and honesty of the people who run it.
We were going through a complicated situation involving an important delivery, and the hotel staff went above and beyond to help us manage it. They made calls on our behalf, followed up consistently with local contacts, and even helped coordinate with couriers — something they didn’t have to do, yet they did it with kindness and patience. It honestly felt like having trusted friends on our side in a place far from home.
The room itself was gorgeous — carved right into the rock, spacious and tastefully decorated. Every morning, we woke up to a peaceful view and enjoyed a fresh, delicious Turkish breakfast with plenty of variety.
This hotel is more than just a place to sleep — it’s a place where you feel truly welcomed and supported. We are deeply grateful and would recommend Century Cave Hotel to anyone looking for not just a beautiful stay in Cappadocia, but also a heartfelt...
