Retro Cappadocia Restaurant Local Food — Restaurant in Göreme

It has a great choice of interesting fusion kitchen. The owner is the chef and has great experience in world and turkish cuisine. It is a great place to come with a group and enjoy the terrace. They don't have small portions of their tapas menu, which is a little bit sad for single visitors. It is not an overpriced place.

The waiter was a little bit too personal with the guests. I must say I felt steadily interrupted by him asking me private questions and making jokes.

When I forgot my phone at the charger, he looked at it and didn't warned me to pick it up, instead said goodbye to me. That was a little sketchy move I didn't expected.

This restaurant is a gem we found in Göreme. It fed us for 3 nights, we keep coming back because it was the only restaurant that tastes like home cook. At least we tried 3 different restaurants in Göreme. We have been looking for baked beef that melts in our mouth and we were not disappointed, had to order it each night I visited, it’s called Dana Kaburca Beef Ribs made by a lovely grandma. ❤️ Their bread starter with white dip, which I forget the name is really good in comparison to other restaurant which served us the same things. After being in Göreme a few days and struggling to find Plant Based options, we spotted a sign on a restaurant we were passing coming back from a tour. We were delighted and decided to go there for dinner. When we were seated and leafed through the menu, none of the plant based options, as shown on the sign outside, were in evidence. We inquired with the waiter, and he had no idea what we were talking about! This is worse than shocking, complete, and utter lies and horrendous false advertising. We were forced to find somewhere else to eat, but this really upset our final night...
