Erenbey Cave Hotel - (Adults Only +12) — Hotel in Göreme

We--two couples--stayed in the Erenbey Boutique Hotel in Goreme, Cappadocia, in April 2023, and it met our expectations for comfort, service, and location. Our room was spacious, comfortable, quiet, and unique, and the bed was very comfortable; our friends' room was equally attractive. Our room was nicely decorated, had a built-in armoire, vanity with mirror and chair, and two arm chairs. There was a combination safe, instant coffee and tea with electric kettle, a refrigerator with 3 complimentary bottles of water, and one luggage stand. Complimentary breakfast in the rustic but charming upstairs dining room was traditional Turkish fare, not American/European. A complimentary bottle of Turkish wine was provided one night. The staff was uniformly attentive and helpful.||The only issues we had were minor and were perhaps unique to our room (#7). The ceiling in our bathroom was only 6' high, so anyone over 5'11" will need to crouch. The glass door to the shower was missing so the bathroom floor became wet when showering, and the spray nozzle needed replacing (water sprayed in multiple directions). Water pressure was strong but the hot water was lukewarm. Also, there was no temperature control in individual rooms and #7 was too warm at night (floor heating?). The hotel is up a short, unpaved side street, and due to frequent rains it was very muddy. ||Despite some minor inconveniences, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Erenbey and would definitely stay there again. We stayed for 2 nights in the King Cave Suite, which was an absolutely incredible experience! The room is huge, the bed is extremely comfortable, the cave design is amazing, we had air conditioning, we had a view of the fairy chimneys from our room, and we had a private terrace. The crown jewel of the room is the large, jetted tub in the bathroom that has a spectacular view of the balloons flying over the valley during sunrise. It was truly magical to be able to watch the balloons from the comfort of a bubble bath with a perfect view. The balloons were flying right over the room so close that I could hear when the pilot ignited the flame of the balloon from the bath tub.

The staff also appointed the room with a complimentary bottle of wine, a bowl of fruit, coffee/tea, toiletries, and had slippers/robes to use during the stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful in so many ways, including setting up an airport transfer and answering our many cappadocia questions. They also provided an incredibly rich, plentiful, and flavorful breakfast.

There was plenty of nice places to sit on the terrace for balloon viewing, eating breakfast, or just taking in the view of the many fairy chimneys encapsulating the property. We loved that the king cave suite allowed us to have our own private terrace for relaxing after a day of activities in Göreme.

I can highly recommend this hotel, and would stay again if ever back in cappadocia! Book the king cave sweet for a once in a lifetime, romantic, and luxurious Cappadocia balloon...

Our very first visit to Türkiye and we kick start our adventure with Göreme, Capadocia. We did make the hotel reservations beforehand as well as requested for pick-up service. |After a long journey and time difference, we were tired. Also was excited and a bit worried about experiencing a new country and new people. |But our worries were put a side the moment we met Mr. Emre Eren from the Erenbey Cave Hotel. He greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel at ease. He drove us to the hotel and helped us with the check-in as well as getting us settled. |This was our very first time experiencing a cave hotel, and we enjoyed it to the max.|The receptionist Mr. Mustafa helped us with arranging the guided tours as well as by patiently answering our oh so many queries almost about everything. |The breakfast buffet served delicious local cuisine, and everything was so fresh. |Our stay in Goreme was made even more enjoyable thanks to the wonderful people of Erenbey Cave Hotel.|The location of the hotel is very convenient too.
