Mavi & Ani Pension — Hotel in Muratpaşa

We stayed at this hotel in July for our family holidays, along with our friends’ family. I meant to write this review earlier but couldn’t due to my busy schedule. I must say, Haroon is a wonderful man! When we arrived, he gave us a warm welcome , kind, polite, and truly an excellent host. He greeted us with fresh fruit and juice, which was such a lovely gesture after our journey from the UK. He arranged four clean and comfortable rooms for us. The rooms were not high-fi, but they were clean, simple, and had everything we needed. The air conditioning worked perfectly — which was a real blessing in the hot weather! My bathroom had a slight smell at first, but it was sorted out later. My children were happy to have their own beds, and our friends, who came from Pakistan, were also warmly welcomed. It was such a joy for all of us to meet in Turkey and stay together. Haroon went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We usually left early in the morning, and breakfast was always ready on time — and it was excellent! I especially miss the watermelon 🍉 — it was so refreshing in the heat. The hotel is in a great location, which made everything convenient. Haroon was also kind enough to help us wash our wet clothes after water activities. We had such a fun and memorable time. His wife was equally lovely — she gave me beautiful lavender flowers as a gift, which I have kept safely as a sweet memory. Thank you, Haroon, for being such an excellent host. If we ever get the chance, we would love to come and stay again. Highly recommended...

I wanted to spend a month vacation with my thirteen year old daughter, preferable in Turkey. As anyone know a teenager demand good internet ( so does also a mother ;-), we hoped for pool. I needed to feel secure since I travel with my daughter. I searched and searched. Eighter it was to expensive or to far out, or not looking good at all. Suddenly my eyes catch this place. It looked so good, and was resonable in price, and had internet and pool. I contacted the owner and made some questions. He aswered them quickly and satisfyingly and I booked. I spend 4 month worriing: will it be as I hope?. Finaly we got here. We asked for pickup service at the airport. Again resonable price and the pick up made us feel VIP 200%. When arriving at the adress we were show around and can you imagine: it was BETTER, much better that expected. Clean, fresh, well equiped, aircondition in every room, internet always work, pool so nice to take a dip in and the owners so helpful. If I can do anything to pay back for my fantastic time in Antalya Kaleici Villa Mavi - is actually to write the best review. I can reccomend everyone to book here. We had to cancel our booking as soon as we arrived and booked online another hotel, where we went immediately. ||The rooms are soooo small and basic! None of the staff speak english except for the owner, mr. Harun. ||THERE IS NO POOL, although the pictures on booking.com show a pool. When we asked, he said that the pictures were taken from upstairs and the pool is next door, but he will allow us to use it. Allow??? As a favour? We chose the place because it had a pool, among other things. He then tried to show us other properties he had nearby, but available from the next day and another one available in 3 days. So according to him, in a week, we'd move 3 times, in rooms just as small, but with a pool. Not a great deal.||At least he was ok to call us a taxi and didn't bother too much about us leaving. He tried to charge us twice though. By cancelling, booking.com charges the 1st night anyway, which is fine. But he wanted to check us in, pay that 1st night and then cancel, which would charge us twice!!! We didn't fall for it and he wasnt pleased.||Anyway NOT...
