Last night, my family of six and I visited this restaurant , we were on the first floor. We were eager to enjoy a lively dining experience together, but unfortunately, our visit was met with disappointment.
Upon arrival, we expected a warm welcome and some assistance as we settled into our hotpot adventure. Knowing our inexperience with a hotpot, we specifically requested our waiter, who happened to be Bengali, to guide us in selecting ingredients and operating the equipment. Unfortunately, we received little to no assistance. The waiter did not check in with us to ensure everything was going smoothly, leaving us somewhat lost and frustrated.
Moreover, our difficulty using chopsticks led us to request forks and spoons. This simple ask resulted in a delay, with the waiter finally returning after 10 long minutes, and with just a single fork for our entire group. His apparent annoyance was palpable, making the situation even more uncomfortable for us as guests.
Our attempt to order a golden bun led to further disappointment, as the waiter never brought it to our table. This oversight contributed to our overall dissatisfaction, and as the evening progressed, our initial excitement transformed into a deep sense of frustration.
We left the restaurant feeling disappointed and unsatisfied. This experience fell far short of the lively, enjoyable family meal we had anticipated. The lack of basic customer service and attention made what should have been a delightful occasion into an unfortunate one.
Given this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant. Good food is not just about flavors; it is also about the care and attention given to guests. Sadly, both were lacking during our visit. We hope future patrons have a better experience, but as for us, we left with heavy hearts and will be seeking other dining...
Read moreWhat I love about Seven Hotpot is that they have been consistent with their food quality ever since. Though some items are of course frozen like the thinly cut USA Beef and Lamb, ingredients such as vegetables and seafood like shrimps and crabs are so fresh. Every menu item that I ordered arrived on time and everything just works! From creating your own sauces for the Hot Pot, to the variety of soups from mild to spicy, and from the vast options of items to choose from, they have managed to cater to different people with different backgrounds and different tastes!
This is my go to Hotpot Restaurant because of 1.The quality and options of the Menu Items, 2.The Cleanliness and the ambiance of the Restaurant and for their overall 3.service.
Most places would miss a mark on one of the three things just mentioned but Seven Hotpot Restaurant was able to balance it all out and gave me the best experience on the things that are important. For AED49.00 Hotpot Buffet, this is your hard earned money well spent!
P.S. - Order the Bread Bun, Sesame Balls and Potato Balls after your meal! Thank me later!...
Read moreThis is one if my favourite restaurants to go to for a casual outing. They have an all you can eat menu, and you can order a variety of ingredients that you prepare yourself in the hotpot (soup). The simplicity of preparing the dishes yourself while having a conversation with the people you are having dinner with, makes it a very relaxing, casual and comfortable dinner. My recommendations for the ingredients from the menu are : US beef, Australian Lamb, rice cakes, konjac, white fish, squid rings, tofu. Also you can make your own dipping sauce at the buffet. The cost of dinner is AED50 per person, for 2 hours. You can order as many dishes from the menu as you like, as long as you don't waste food. For food wastage you need to pay extra. You can order multiple times, so first order a few ingredients and when you feel like having more, just ask the waiter, and they will bring it to you very quickly. 5 stars for...
