Gerry’s Grill - Al Wahda Mall — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

We dined in today and were initially informed that our solo meal with unlimited rice would be served after a 15-minute wait. However, it took almost an hour before our order was prepared. Despite the long delay, none of the staff members offered an apology or explanation.

When the food finally arrived, the chicken inasal was dry and tasted like it had been prepared the day before. During our meal, we requested an additional cup of rice, but the lady wearing glasses informed us that there was no more rice available. Strangely, we later witnessed another customer request rice, and she was given two cups without any issue.

This inconsistency and lack of customer service are disappointing. We hope this matter will be addressed...

Bad Experience - Poor Service!

Today, June 7, I ordered at 6:09:41 PM at Gerry’s Grill Al Wahda branch. By 6:46 PM, my order still wasn’t served. When I asked the staff about it, she was completely unaware of my order and had to check with the kitchen — only to find out it was never even prepared!

This is completely unacceptable. I came here expecting good service, but instead got ignored for almost 40 minutes. The lack of communication between the staff and kitchen was disappointing, and no one even bothered to update me until I asked.

We were hoping for a good meal, but unfortunately, we were left very disappointed. We waited for almost an hour, only to find out that our order was never even started in the kitchen. No one informed us of any delay. We had follow-up and waited for another 10 minutes or so but still there was no sign of our food. At that point, we decided to cancel our order. What made the situation worse was the lack of apology or concern from the staff. Only one guy said "Pasensya na po," but the lady with the glasses who took our order showed no care at all.
