Disgusting, Unsafe, and a Complete Scam — Avoid at All Costs I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others. This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. When my partner and I checked into our room, we found it had already been used. The bed was messy, there were visible stains on the pillow, and most disgustingly — there were used condoms in the bin. It was clear the room hadn’t been cleaned at all. We requested a new room, only to be moved into a space that was just as bad: • No door knob on the bathroom (complete lack of privacy and security) • No hot water — not even lukewarm • Broken tap, so we couldn’t wash properly • Filthy curtains and generally unhygienic conditions We didn’t feel safe or comfortable, and we left the property early. This hotel should not be listed on Booking.com or any reputable platform. To make things worse, the staff didn’t seem shocked or particularly apologetic — as if this wasn’t the first time guests had complained. Do yourself a favour: don’t stay here. Spend a little more elsewhere and actually feel safe, clean, and respected as a guest. This place is a disgrace.

Room was atrocious, 26 noted faults ranging from bodily fluid stains on furniture to thick limescale on shower head and mould in bathroom, all faults were photographically recorded and rooms do not have ensuite bathrooms without upgrading for extra money, not accessible for disabled and stairs are hard work. Door keys are edited EE top up cards which barely work and there is little safety assurance other than a black and white copy of a fire card. Also our room was accessed by female customers while male occupants (myself and friend) were in the room after a careless desk staff member gave the room key to the female customers. This "hotel" is a mere con and should be avoided by all especially vulnerable people. Other notes, no bathroom door lock, floppy plug sockets covered in gunk, severe gashes in curtains, cigarette burns in chair, flooding sink while plug is set to open (which cannot be closed either) and hotel policy states in clear writing on desk that hotel does not give refunds at desk.

I’ve stayed here for one night. I had a really difficult situation and needed a hotel at 1am, Berkeley Court Hotel was the closest one. When I came there was a reception guy who didn’t understand my booking confirmation and it took really long time to check in. When I’ve asked about option with a late check out, he said that I can’t do that cause it will cost 20 pounds 🤨 (like I can afford it, man). However, the room was clean and nice. The shower has cold/warm/hot water, maybe commentators here just didn’t know how to turn it in a right way 🧐 The night and surprisingly morning were really quiet. When I was clocking out, there was a really nice woman, Kyishma. She was kind and helpful ā™„ļø I wish I could check in when she was there. The location is great, the bus stops and Hyde Park are near the hotel. I would recommend this place and definitely will come back for this price.

One of the Worst Hotel Experiences I’ve Ever Had – Not Even a Basic HotelI don’t usually write reviews, but I felt it was necessary this time to warn others. This place is not a hotel by any standard—not even a basic one.Let me be clear:There was no working internet during my entire stay.No napkins, no shampoo, no soap—basic hygiene items were completely missing. No air conditioning or fans even though it was extremely hot.The only pillow provided was so old and flat that it can’t even be called a pillow. When I asked for a second one or a replacement, they refused. You are given only one towel, and when I requested a clean extra towel, they refused again. They placed me in a room directly next to a noisy street. Because of the heat, I had to keep the window open—but that meant I barely slept. Every 15–20 minutes I was woken up by motorcycles, cars, loudspeakers on bikes, and drunk people shouting outside. It was also very uncomfortable to be so exposed—people could literally look into my room while I slept, but closing the window was not an option due to the heat.Honestly, I felt like I was living on the street with a bed, not staying in a hotel. The room itself was tiny—so small that it was hard to move around with luggage. To make matters worse, when I checked out and asked to leave my bag for a couple of hours, they told me I had to pay extra just to store it. After arguing, they finally agreed to keep it for just one hour for free. This kind of customer-unfriendly policy was the last straw. The only positive aspects:The location is convenient. It’s cheaper than other hotels in the area. The reception staff were polite, but clearly limited in what they could offer.Still, none of these positives make up for the terrible experience. I’ve stayed in many hotels before, but this one doesn’t even deserve to be called a hotel. I strongly advise others to avoid it—there are better options, even...

Probably the worst experience I've had in a hotel. The couple that seem to run it and friendly but quite incompetent or do not care enough to maintain it. Non smoking room stank of smoke. Taps would fill the sink and even a cigarette butt came back up out of the sink. Gross. It drained very slowly so couldn't use the taps for more than 30 seconds. Similar for the shower. 5 minute shower was the max you could do or water would overflow into the "rest" of the bathroom( it being so tiny) Very grimy and unclean. I asked for a hand towel for the bathroom. To which she said they don't offer them. They apparently offered bath sheets which she called big towels. But that might have been the tiny regular ones I had already of which she didn't supply after asking. One toilet roll for my entire duration. Nothing ever replaced. Even when I asked for a body wash of which they original offer one tiny sachet.. Still nothing. Beds were pretty uncomfortable. Basic metal frame. Too big for the mattress. The hall way was dirty. Carpet all torn up. All for way too high of a price. The only redeemable feature was its location. Which is a shame because if they hired an extra staff member and redecorated the entire place if could be a good...
