Part 1 is my buying experience. Trying to improve my life, I committed mental, emotional and financial suicide by trusting Vamos Auto. This is the note. I called to see if I qualify earning $6000 a month, was told yes. I got there and was told the bank won't allow me to finance it, but was told its Buy Here Pay Here before I paid for ride there. My vehicle with over 200,000 miles broke down and was taken for non-payment. I ended up buying a 2012 Ford Focus that only seemed to hesitate shifting gears accelerating, a known Ford Focus issue. But they played me for not knowing why, at 10 years old, the car only had 20000 miles. I was told it was only driven occasionally by an old lady. Really, the entire electrical system was dry rotten but the Texas cold weather at time of purchase hid it. I thought something was wrong about a week after purchase when I tried getting in the trunk and called the salesman several times including for sales paperwork, but apparently got blocked and was able to prove it after he picked up with me calling from my second phone. I called the dealer, whether for another key because the one I bought had issues being programmed or me trying to open the trunk or the 1st key button not working with a brand new battery, they would say they would have the service department call me, but it never happened. Either way, I drove the frozen yet decaying car until the Texas heat presented. The hesitation was more noticeable just starting but I didn't know til the weather hit 106 degrees outside. The car's dead 4 months later at 42000 miles and an extended warranty for 24000 miles. I put 22000 miles in 4 months. That was my purpose in seeking a low mile vehicle and paying for extended warranty, I tried to help myself. Why pay $600 a month to have the car die after 1 Year's Worth Of Miles but still owe $21000, on a loan now somehow with my ex-husband as the owner? I was told I only needed a cosigner. I came in then was told I could not finance with my employment even though I called and asked. He said the bank required me to have it but never said this would be my ex-husband's car! I only even asked him after I was already shown vehicles and later told that lie. My ex-husband has better credit plus non-payment would affect his security clearance. I could have just asked him to buy himself a car from a real dealership and allow me to use it. This was why I was told the sales documents would be sent to me. The extended warranty was a lie because I was told there was a package that covers my car's intended use, driving for multiple companies and also doing research for systemic candidiasis before school started because of my rare disability. I even obtained a sign from Uber for my miles accrued. Why would my ex-husband electronically sign an extended warranty for my car but not me who purchased it and drives it? Now it does not include the coverage I was told I am paying for. This was why I never received my loan documents. Either I or my ex-husband will leave the second half of the review for purposes of...
Read moreI got my car back in August 2022. The sales rep was great. I only put down 1500 payments were 224 every two weeks now this was convenient for me because I didn’t have children but now I have a child. They work with you when they want to, when it’s convenient for them. I got an extension one time and I was told I can get an extension two times out of the year. They work with you when they want to when it’s convenient for them. I got an extension one time and I was told I can get a extension two times out of the year. I got a due date change and they said that was considered me getting help so I could only get one extension at that time so I got it. The next year I tried to get one and they said they don’t do extensions then they tell me they give five day grace periods when payment is due & after that they turn the car off. So again they work with you when it’s convenient. I also have had my vehicle repossessed for being almost 3 payments behind. They allowed me to go this far behind without saying anything. I got the vehicle back after that I was not late on my payments now I may have been a day or two late, but never that far because they would turn my car off instantly , Now I have expressed to them that I do have a child and some things do come up, but they don’t care they just want their money and I understand that but they’re not even willing to work with you at all. Today, I’m not even 24 hours late. I called today at 3:30 to see if they can give me a couple more days. The lady on the phone said if you were to call the day before your due date we would’ve been able to work with you so no we would need payment so I said ok. I’m gonna try to get the money before the end of the day, I made the payment at 5:31 when I got the receipt I go outside at 6:30 car is turned off completely. Can’t go anywhere until Monday so now I have to find a ride to work. I have to find a way to get my son to school on top of that all she could have done was check the account before she left to see if the payment was made and then just simply turn my car back on. Honestly would never get a vehicle from this company because they do not work with you no matter how long you’ve been with them so I would give them one star all around because one rep will tell you something different and then another one will tell you something else completely different. I only went with VAMOS auto because that was all I could get at the time, but I just wanna pay this car off and never speak to them again. I been owing 10,000 on this car for 5 ever now. I can’t even check the status of anything only make payments. They make it to where you have to call no...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. For starters I purchased a 2014 Kia Sorento from them on 03/10/2022. On the morning of 03/11/2022 the Kia wouldn't start so I was forced to get a jump from a neighbor. It was raining as well and I proceeded to leave my apartment complex and once I started to drive the car was very hesitant and would not accelerate properly and I started to slide around the road almost causing an accident with my two small children in the car. My tire light was on as well so I immediately pulled over to a discount tire. They checked my tire pressure and informed me that I had a slow leak in my back left tire. They also informed me that my two front ties needed to be replaced and showed me on their hand held that my tires in the front were at a (3) which was BAD. I than made a call to the car lot and let them know of everything that was going on and was told that is was nothing that they could do. I returned the vehicle on 03/11/2022 with keys and asked for my money back. I was told by the salesman I worked with that I would need to reach out to the manager but more than likely all he was going to do was drive the car and say nothing was wrong with it. I than sat and waited on my ride to come and I left the Kia there with them. I than reached out to the manager via email so that I could keep everything documented and he told me that I needed to refer to my arbitration agreement because I told him I would be contacting an attorney and I wanted to know a ETA on the turn around for my payment. I proceeded to email him in regard to this matter of starting the arbitration process. This is what I sent via email as well and haven't gotten a response.
