This place is a good workout and good atmosphere but it is INSANELY expensive and they don’t offer any lower options for a la carte or just once or twice a week options. Both F45 and Orange Theory have way cheaper options and also have things like syncing up to your fitness watch. Orange theory is only $69 a month for once a week and $100 for twice a week. The ā€œcheapestā€ option you can get here is paying for A YEAR of classes at one time which is almost $1500. Between that and the weird ā€œchallengesā€ that have rules like ā€œpost positively about the camp daily on Facebookā€ gives off a very scam vibe. It probably explains why there are so many 5 star reviews here as well. After every class they take of photo of you and I have no idea why. It is weird and wastes time when people usually like to get in and get out of the gym as quickly as possible. I like that you don’t have to sign up for classes in advance and there is always room for you and no penalty if you cancel at last minute, but that’s because you have already been penalized by the cost upfront.

7/27/2020. Today I finished my first 6 week challenge and I lost a little over 25 pounds!!! I had a baby back in February and I was a bit worried that being a new mom would make it difficult to get to the workout classes and to eat FTDI. This camp is very supportive and they motivate you to keep going. I recommend this camp to people trying to get healthy. It won’t be easy and you won’t lose 20 pounds in a week, but if you keep doing everything in the camp Bible, you will be successful (NO CHEATING! Even if you think that you can eat pizza because you killed it at the workout, STOP! It’s not worth it lol!). I’m excited for my second challenge!! With this challenge, I lost my quarantine weight. Now I’m hoping to lose my baby weight in the next challenge lol.

Late April of this year, I was living a sedentary life. At 276 lbs, classified as ā€œmorbidly obese,ā€ I found that i was unhappy with my current track, out of energy, and in need of a change. As someone who worked in a office, I spent much of my day at a computer, and very little time moving more and eating better.Ā  I was lost, and looking for a home to help with my weight loss journey. So I started at the Arlington Transformation Center. If you are really serious about losing weight in this is the place I promise you. I started the six weeks challenge and lost 22 lbs in 6 weeks. Let's see what happens in the next 6 weeks to be continued

One day I saw this ad on Facebook about being fit and healthy and blah blah blah, ā€œtry this challenge, for free, lose weight, look goodā€ etc etc etc.... Sounds just like the usual mumbo jumbo, right? RIGHT! it does! But i thought ā€œwhat the heck I’ll just go see what they’re offering at their Friday night orientation and leave empty handed...i got nothing better to doā€ Oh my gosh I went into this with so much attitude, thinking the whole time ā€œwhen are they gonna ask for money?, ain’t shhh freeā€ Blake gives us all this general knowledge about eating right and working out, and I’m like ā€œyeah, yeah, we all know what we need to do Blake, we just gotta do itā€ Finally this man asks for money šŸ’° for this 6 week challenge, says the reason they advertise it as ā€œfreeā€ is because as long as you follow the rules and meet the standards of the contract you have the option of getting your money back at the end of the challenge (or letting the money roll over into another challenge). OK! What are the requirements? Post on Facebook, change your profile photo, workout at the gym 5 times a week, lose 20lbs in 6 weeks.

Easy peasy Imma do it, sign me up!

Oh my Pants!!! so much self discipline came into play!!! Getting my money back at the end of this challenge was my biggest motivation initially, but i fell in love with so much more about this gym. The team is amazing! The challengers are like little Coach’s how supportive and motivating they are. The workouts are super fun! The fact that the workouts were a requirement, I made sure to make it to the gym every weekday! I made friends that i looked forward to seeing every day! I’ve learned to enjoy running. I have so much confidence in myself, i Shop constantly! (All the money i used to spend on fast food is now going to cute clothes.)

Today was the end of my 6 week challenge, and all day I was hoping and praying I met all the requirements! Not so i could get my money back, But so i could continue going to this gym! I wasnt ready for my challenge to end! I just want to keep going to this gym! I enjoy it so much and I’m actually putting my knowledge of healthy eating and exercise to work and getting real results!

I would recommend this gym to anyone and everyone in the world !

This challenge has been the Best thing to come at me in 2020 and i feel so lucky to have my AFF at Camp Arlington!

Only reason i didn’t Give 4 Start is because the memberships in my honest opinion are too expensive.... if they were like 40 dollars a month, I’d be signed up yesterday... other than that tho .... this place is...

You see all these people posts ads and different things for you to join their camp all over social media, but The Camp Transformation Center - Arlington, TX was the one i went with and it has taught me so much! Just like those other camps that try and reel you in, this camp did also. At first I was extremely scared but determined to push and make a change for myself. To a much better healthy lifestyle, to being able to just BREATHE more easily and of course get that sexy physique lol... this was all my mindset joining this challenge!

To me the workouts are amazing! For those just beginning and those that are experts, the workouts are for you! The trainers I have met along the way from Tia, Fernando, Bri, Hermon, Blake and many many more, they are there to help you succeed. It really does feel like a family especially when I am laying there trying to catch my breath and they come up to you, and I just utter curse words under my breath (it really helps lol). Workouts are fun, amazing and challenging! The atmosphere of many other people in the room help you keep going as well! This helps keep you motivated along the way.

Then there are nutrition guides that help as well! This was my biggest weakness but is possible if you follow instructions! Food can be great if you make it great! I eat more times a day but less portions. It’s amazing how you can feel so full after so little. Consistency is KEY! I learned through a sermon once that ā€œthe stuff you stuff yourself with, is the stuff you’re stuffed with!ā€ Thinking of all the bad stuff I have put into my body is crazy, but now that I have the knowledge I know I can achieve my goal!

Accountability was my favorite and most scariest thing throughout the challenge. The anticipation and hopes of losing weight, but with just the workouts and nutrition, it is all possible!

Overall I can say that I have changed so much, from eating more clean to getting more stronger. The start of 2019, this was the heaviest I have ever been in my life - being morbidly obese! It’s scary but it’s true! Just finished my first challenge and lost exactly 20.0lbs and this is the just the start for me. 2019 is my year to a healthier, better, stronger and sexy me! You can do it too! I was scared (still am) but I know that it’s possible! My advice to all is to fight, finish strong, and keep the faith!

For ā€œI have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.ā€...

I am truly thankful for finding the camp transformation center in my way. I never though I was not only pass the 5% hard body challenge, but to exceed it in a short period of time. This program surprised me in all ways. I have great metabolism, and I don't tend to gain weight more than 10 pounds even if I eat the worst food every day. but I decided to join the challenge just to support my wife who needed to loose some weight. I knew it was going to be hard for her to cook something different for me. I wanted to be in this journey with her and feel all of the struggles and difficulties she would feel.

For a person like that me that never went to a gym before, every day was difficult. I was going to write that the first week was the hardest because I was so weak to lift, and I wanted to throw up, but that is not true. After work hours, I had to stop by the camp and do homework and the regular cardio/workout. What helped to continue and be determined and not to give up was this pretty word called "MOTIVATION".

MOTIVATION was the success keyword and the reason why I STRONGLY recommend the camp. No matter how stressed you are for your personal life issues, no matter how many times you have failed in trying to loose weight, no matter how disappointed are of yourself, in the camp you will find a new opportunity, you will find acceptance, encouragement, energy, friendship, you never feel alone. Next to you there will be always a person that needs to loose more weight and you will be his (her) motivation, and at the same time, there will be someone close to you who is stronger and in better shape that you will feel motivated.

The nutritional plan is something magical, you eat what you are told at the right time with the right portions and your body will be magically transformed. It just feels awesome!!!

Also, your couches are always there to answer all of the questions you have, they never ignore you, and respond to you extremely fast. I want to thank my hard body couch Sandi Nibarger Bassett who was a truly inspiration and for always pushing me to give the extra mile. I also want to thank all of the Jeff the camp staff, who always was very respectful and professional, bathrooms an facility always clean. I also loved that this is Kids friendly place, your children are welcome to stay in the lobby while parents do workout. I am enjoying this part of my life called "Feeling Physically...
