⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (If only I could give more!)||Burned out from big-city life, I escaped L.A. for a week-long, all-inclusive self-care retreat at Oregon Wellness Retreat (OWR) in Ashland, OR—and I came home feeling completely renewed. OWR is run by the incredible husband-and-wife team, Jacqui & Billy, out of their charming Bayberry Inn B&B. From our very first email months ago, Jacqui listened to exactly what I wanted (deep self-care + great food) and built a custom itinerary that blew me away.||Why I’m already plotting my return:||🌲 Immersive, personalized experiences |• Private, guided hike in the Siskiyou Mountains with Billy—forest air, sweeping vistas, pure serenity. |• Yoga Nidra, Japanese tea & bath-house soak, horseback riding through Applegate, acupuncture & cupping, multiple massages (the deep-tissue + sound-bath session with Sara Sai was one of the best I’ve ever had). Every activity was hand-picked and flawlessly scheduled.||🍽️ A surprise culinary hot-spot |Forget small-town dining stereotypes—Ashland is a food lover’s dream. Some of my curated line-up included: |• Wings & local brews at Growler Guys |• Fresh pasta perfection at Osteria La Briccola |• A mind-blowing 10-course tasting menu at James Beard finalist Chef Josh Dorcak’s MAS |And each morning began with Billy’s gourmet breakfasts at the inn—delicious fuel for the day.||🏡 The Bayberry Inn home base |Comfy suites, thoughtful touches, and hosts who treat you like family. You’re steps from downtown, so between sessions you can explore boutiques, grab coffee, or (dare you!) try a sip of Lithia’s famous mineral water fountain.||✨ The hosts make the magic |Jacqui’s organization and warmth + Billy’s culinary and outdoor know-how = the dream team. They handled every detail; I just showed up and relaxed.||Bottom line: Oregon Wellness Retreat is the perfect reset button—part luxury, part adventure, all heart. If you need rejuvenation, gourmet food, and genuine hospitality, book a retreat here. You’ll leave counting down the days until you...
Read moreWE LOVED our time at the Bayberry Inn! It is located a short drive or walking distance to Ashland downtown. The Inn is run by Jacqui and her husband, and they are loving and caring and made our time together as a family memorable. They got 4 deer that sat on the side yard in the morning and made our mornings very special. As a mom, having someone else cook breakfast was already a treat! For my parents, having two of their daughters with them and having time to just sit and chat was the best holiday present we gave ourselves. Life gets busy and we all have experiences that rock our world, but we hardly give ourselves time to share with loved ones. To share our journeys, how we found solutions and how we transformed because of the experience was priceless. We also saw a beautiful show in the Cabaret Theater and ate some of the best meals ever at Hearsay and Osteria Briccola. We explored the surroundings and found Jacksonville in full Holiday celebration with carolers and hot cocoa outside shops. We started our trip visiting the Rogue Creamery and watching the best technology had to offer as it took care of 134 cows that milked themselves to make the BEST ever blue cheese. That blue cheese went delicious with pears and veggies. We finished our trip with a nice lunch at the Dancing Winery. The best time was sitting at the dining table at the Bayberry Inn and sharing our stories. And getting my mom to relax in a salt bath, made by Jacqui, and see my dad's eyes water with pride at his two daughters for having conquered fears and huge challenges in life. That is what the holidays are about, and I thank Bayberry Inn for providing the environment for beautiful exchanges and...
