Our trip to Ashland had been planned for months. Everything was in order until we checked in to our hotel and found the accommodations were not as advertised. I panicked. I called the hotels in the AAA Oregon book and finally found a kind soul who checked online for the B&B listing. The Coolidge B&B had the only availability for the night. What a providential situation. Jordan immediately answered my phone call and kindly invited me over. By sheer miracle, he had a room available and it was beyond our hopes and expectations!||We stayed in the Charles Dickens room on the 2nd floor. It has a lovely view of the valley and trees. The alcove had no EMF which was just what I needed. My husband had the huge king size bed in the main room all to himself. Every detail in the room was perfect. The Dickens artwork, prints and books added just the right touch to the room. The bathroom was very modern and beautiful. Everything in the room - paint, furniture, fixtures were top quality you would find in the best of the best 5 star hotel. The chair in the alcove was so comfortable and the table and desk were a surprise bonus.||Breakfast was delicious and in large quantities. We happened to stay when 4 other couples returned for their annual weekend. They were very welcoming to us and we all sat and ate and talked and enjoyed the pure luxury of being waited on hand and foot. Each morning was a different menu and was absolutely delicious. ||The best part of our stay was the Innkeeper, Jordan. He has a servant's heart. Nothing phased him. He was so kind and accommodating to us. He took us in when we were desperate for a room and he went above and beyond making us welcome.||Beware of the home baked cookies at 4pm - you can't...
