It's the best recycling center in the area with the lowest contamination rate. That being said, people still drop in filthy containers and trash and other items that aren't acceptable. Everything should be rinsed out, PLEASE. Otherwise, what's the purpose? It brings contamination from đ. Accepted: flattened cardboard *emptied plastic tubs, bottles and jugs with 1,2,5 symbol. Aluminum cans, paper, glass. Soft plastic is also taken in a separate bin. Not Accepted: styrofoam, egg cartons, hard plastic packaging, trash, to-go containers or cups, tissue, napkins, pots. If in doubt, ASK the attendants! Keep this the BEST recycling center in Oregon! It's a real treat to have it and if we all do our part, it might add up to make a difference.
