The Boards Motel is a cheap, bare bones motel close to the Atlantic City Boardwalk. Upon checking into the room, there was a strong smoky odor that took a while to air out. The walls were also chipping a bit, the carpet was slightly stained, I could easily hear the outside noises at night, and the room didn’t look neat and clean in general. As far as I could tell, the bed was clean and comfortable though. The room prices are very cheap compared to other hotels in the area. It’s just a block from the boardwalk near Resorts Casino. Read moreThis place needs to be condemned. It’s a filthy place. Our room was filthy before we even walked in. The rug was dirty and stained. Walls unpainted in spots. Plug outlets were loose. Wouldn’t securely hold the plugs The bathroom shower curtain didn’t go all the way to the floor. So when you take a shower the water goes all over the bathroom floor. There was black graffiti above the bathroom window. Doors , windows ,ledges etc were filthy. The curb outside our room was a hazard due to broken crumbling concrete. Vending machines out of order. Read moreThere are stains on the sheets and the bed. Stains on the wall, lamp, desks. The bathroom was deplorable. And on top of that I found bed bugs and dead roaches. The manager but then told me that there was no maid to clean the room. Why are you vacating rooms that are not clean?? I left right away ! Save yourself the trauma and embarrassment this place is an abomination. Dirty, false advertising environment. Everything had some type of bodily fluid on it 🤢 Different colors etc....
