From arriving to leaving the worst over night experience ever. First, when I arrived there is no one there to greet you. You have to call a number and wait for someone to come down. After I paid is when the concierge informed me even though they advertised it there is no breakfast. Secondly, when I entered my room it smelled horrible! Like someone was smoking and didn’t shower. When I walked in I looked on the bed sheets and why did I see hair in the bed. And not just any hair, it was like hair from a razor or a man shaving on top of the bed sheets that you can tell wasn’t washed. Then I looked over at the towel in the mini kitchen and it was something on it. I hand included pictures. I tried to contact the front desk with the phones but like I said earlier no one is at the front desk. I had to call the number from check in and ask for clean sheets. While I was waiting on clean sheets I was checking the locks and one didn’t work. The experience was giving Sex trafficking. When someone came to my room it was the lady from check in. I let her know I hadn’t been able to get comfortable and I showed her the lock. She didn’t even try to move me to a better room. She gave me the sheets and didn’t stay to remove the sheets with hair. So I had to cover the dirty bed with clean sheets and lay on top of it. When 7 o clock got I rushed to leave didn’t start until check out because I was so uncomfortable and could not sleep. In the morning I had to call the number again and wait to check out. This was the most worst experience ever! This location should be shut down! This isn’t hospitality it’s just nasty!

This was not a pleasant place to stay. I tend to give places a chance if the reviews are mixed, but you should definitely believe the negative reviews. The check-in process took about 20 minutes as the staff were not at the desk, but chatting in the room behind the desk. They did not seem to have the type of room I requested available despite me reserving many days ahead of time. The lobby smelled of cigarettes and was unclean. When I finally got to the room, it was clear it had not been maintained or cleaned well. The trash in the bathroom had not been taken out, and there were stains all over the sofa and the box spring of the bed. The shower did not have a shower curtain, the light bulb in the bathroom did not have a lamp, and a drawer in the kitchen was fully broken. The smoke detector was detached from the ceiling, leaving the exposed wiring. The next morning, there was a barefoot man sitting in the hallway outside of my door, seemingly watching something on a tablet. It was very odd and unsettling, so I decided to check out instead of staying another two days. As an extra bonus, the continental breakfast I was told about was not available in the morning. Figures! All in all, this place is not worth booking. Please spend the couple extra bucks to stay at any of the other hotels in the area, as this place is nowhere near cheap enough to justify the poor quality.

HORRIBLE, BEWARE!!! If I can give this a ZERO star review I would. Not deserving of a 1 star. BEWARE, false advertising switch and bait. After traveling from out of town and upon check in the room was not ready. The housekeeper was in the process of cleaning the room when we got to the room. Usually the housekeeper would keep her cleaning cart in the hallway outside the room but instead she had that dirty cleaning cart inside the room while cleaning up. The couch was chewed up by dogs previously, two cabinet drawers were broken. The ceiling lighting fixture was open with the broken cover in the closet. There was dirty food or blood stains in the drawer underneath the bible, fridgerator was missing door racks, the floor was dirty and sticky. I informed the front desk and requested to change of room, she told me they were all booked up and suggested that I checkout the fact that I had ready prepaid for the room. BEWARE when booking online third party they fail to state that upon checking in the hotel CHARGE A $100 DEPOSIT for incidentals instead of PUT A DEPOSIT HOLD on your credit card like other hotels would. Worse 2 day new years experience ever. I've taken pictures of the discrepancies if only I can post the pictures to warn others in advance. DEFINITELY NOT A DELUXE SUITE!!! Worse money ever spent I'm better off giving the money spent on this hotel to the homeless.

Almost Nice place actually. A sort of mundanely maybe-better than usual version of "Okay". The kitchens are nice, as is the full fridge, though it's generally drab and dusty all over. A few bigger issues, but all in all very quiet and comfortable. In fact it has a kind of soothing quality that might make it seem nicer than it is? I'm not sure. But I enjoyed my stay regardless.

Extended Stay is typically pretty reasonable for the amenities, but this trip ended up being dramatically overpriced @ the 6th Street Location due to a technical issue concerning the weekly/daily booking rate difference and I'm a tad (a lot) bitter about it. I've transferred over to Metro on Highway 290, and if the discussion about reimbursement that I'm having at checkout doesn't go well then my rating may well go down a star.

Staff was great, quiet; never bothered us and were extremely reasonable when we had to suddenly register a visitor, as well as being super sweet to my dog. Booking pets was also easy, and not too terribly priced. Got the 10lb Chihuahua and the 80lb Pitbull both in the room with no glitches. Actually I might rate the individual staff members higher than the establishment itself if there were a way to do that.

On the other hand, it's possible that the admittedly friendly and accommodating staff aren't very diligent about upkeep. Found random bits of various druggy-type refuse and leftovers in tiny amounts all around the room from God-Knows-how-long-ago; So they obviously don't really clean. If it's under or behind the furniture, out of easy arm's length, or not within the normal line of sight, it's probably kinda gross. Not really gross, but just... just a tad more gross than you really want.

Oh, the continental breakfast is a lie, by the way. Like, a straight up lie. Maybe not literally, but they seriously juat give you a packet of instant oatmeal with a bowl, plus there's coffee and cereal. It's extremely fortunate that this place makes it easy to store and cook your own groceries. Then again, I love to cook and I'm good at it. Not everybody is.

At the end of the review I give a 3 instead of a 2, despite the glaring issues. The fact is that it was always a nice comfortable place to come back to at the end of a busy night or a productive day, and my overall impression is that I enjoyed being here. When I can honestly say that I had a good time, I don't feel right giving too poor of a review even if it's not the nicest place in the world and their booking system error swindled a third of my last paycheck. I don't have a lot of money to throw around, and Extended Stay is usually a good deal for the price. Provided my concerns are addressed to my satisfaction, I'd be happy to...

I absolutely hate putting negative reviews but oh man, its necessary. Honestly, the only thing nice about my stay at this hotel was the employee at the front desk who helped us out. The fact that there were no accommodations for the price was pretty bad. No "grab and go breakfast" or any breakfast for that matter, no pool, no anything, really. Then when we got up to our hotel room, we found blood on the window curtain. The super nice employee at the front desk changed us to a different room, but when we got there, we were hit with a heavy smoke smell we couldn't get rid of no matter how much deodorizer or perfume we tried. The refrigerator door opened the wrong way so we had to get out of the way before it was opened. The toilet was detached from the floor so we had to be careful using it. The showerhead was not properly screwed on, it sprayed from the base of it before we tightened it to stop. There was nothing but one bar of soap provided, so we had to go to a shop to pick up the basics. If this isn't something commonly provided, then that's on me for expecting it. When we asked for extra pillows, we were told that they had absolutely no extra pillows--only the ones provided in the room. The furniture was terrible. I'm not trying to be harsh here but the drawers were missing a front panel, so it was just an open hole. One of the side lamps with an outlet shorted out my brand-new phone charger. And when me and my husband sat at the end of the bed while watching TV, the whole thing almost flipped over from the opposite end. Now, I might be a little spoiled here but the way this company presents itself in advertisement, I thought there would be the little amenities and toiletries. No coffee maker/tea in sight, even in the lobby. We had to request for our room keys to be fixed every day of our stay because they stopped working repeatedly. The only reason I did not cancel and book elsewhere is because nothing would equal the price in such short notice as the day of.

The friendliest was our initial front desk employee, but we did see two or three other people and they weren't the friendliest. I don't put the blame on them though--as it seems like a terrible location when it comes to customer types and apparently a terrible company that does not provide their employees with the necessary factors for customer...

Update: so if you’re following the saga… Diane lied to BBB and then when I called her on it, she disconnected her phone number. Another Lubbock number called me yesterday and let it ring once and hung up. Tried returning the call but the voicemail is full. This has been one of the most outrageous customer experiences of my entire life.

Another update: The hotel lied to the better business bureau and said they called me and I never called them back. Diane called at 1208 and I returned the called back at 1229. I called back 6 additional times with no return call before she called back and said to stop calling. She assured me I’d hear from Calvin miller. Spoiler alert, I have not. This organization is criminal. Avoid at all costs

This place is a nightmare. To start, the building looks abandoned and the parking lot is filled with sketchy people. The place stinks on the inside. They didn’t have the room size I booked so we were going to try to make one bed work for three people. On entering the room we found bloody boogers smeared on the walls and dirty bandaids over the fire alarm. My kids and I did not feel safe and we immediately called Expedia who contacted the property. I was notified that I could leave and I would receive a full refund in 10-14 days. It’s been 30 and still no refund. I have called 6 times and every time I am told the manager, courtlind, will call me back. They have not called me back and the front desk is now abusive and aggressive towards me when I call. Avoid this place like the plague because you might get the plague if you stay here

Update: cortland still never returned my call. Truly a terrible person. A terrible establishment. Save yourself , do not ever go here.

Update: Diane called me one day and I immediately returned her call. Every day… for 2 weeks. She finally just called me back and said “I don’t remember why I called you. You didn’t answer. I also don’t want to know. I’m referring you to someone else who’s number I don’t know and won’t give you” so they continue to do nothing to help me. 3 months of trying to get a refund. I’ve spent countless hours. Submitted a claim to my bank. Filed with the BBB. This company is horrific and filled with the worst kind of people. Avoid...
