Bob Timberlake Inn — Hotel in Blowing Rock

Charming grounds. Room 6 at the Lodge was large but not. Low grade linens, worn out carpet. The included breakfast each day was indeed breakfast but cold and tasteless.

Getting your luggage to the room is a challenge without help nor direction on a clear cut method to get them from the lot to the room.

The 5pm wine and cheese was pleasant, as was the 24 hour pantry complete with beverages and ice cream.

Nice indoor pool area.

The restaurant menu was limited and was lacking as it was short staffed. We were told that the Chef had left them without notice taking the staff with him.

We had our fur baby so we stayed on ground floor which was okay. However the towels were low grade feeling rough. The blankets on bed were very uncomfortable rough to the touch as well. The rug in our room was very dirty. The sofa was very uncomfortable & rough. The room was very dry & at night alot of static & you could see at night as you would cover with your sheet & blanket. Also our eyes itched & skin. I don't know if it was the detergent or what it was. The menu was limited & first night they run out of Salmon but...
