We stopped in after 5 on a Sunday afternoon after spending the day at Silver Dollar City. The restaurant was not crowded... maybe 2 tables seated and no one at the bar. We decided to eat at the bar, so we seated ourselves. After being greeted by a woman seated at the bar who appeared to be the manager, she moved to the end of the bar and engaged some other employees in conversation for several more minutes. The bartender arrived from the kitchen with a to go order a few minutes later for one of the employees, and took care of an additional special order for something the manager told him to add to the order, ringing it up and then taking payment. All of this happens before we have even been given menus. We could have been deciding on our drinks and our food, but we were kind of being ignored, so that's the reason I gave only a 4 on the service rating. Once Matt finally gave us our menus and took our orders, the service was great, and we enjoyed the food very much. My husband got the meatloaf and I got the shrimp and grits. Both were well seasoned and served very hot from the kitchen. Shrimp can be overcooked, but these were cooked perfectly, and the meatloaf was moist and very flavorful, as were the sides. We will be back, but we want to remind the manager that it only takes a second to hand new guests a menu while they wait for the server/bartender to arrive, and people seating themselves at the bar should not be...
Read more1st round of drinks. Delicious! Our waitress disappeared several times and for long periods of time finally got food ordered. Mozzarella sticks were ok, the cheese needed salt or something. Ordered another round of drinks and these were not good. Same bartender same drink order and completely wrong. Drinks also sat at the bar for 10 min waiting for our waitress to come around. Another waitress brings our food. Steak was not cooked correctly had to return. We are sitting close enough to the kitchen so we can here the staff complaining about having to fix the steak. So now we are nervous about what we are going to get. Get it back still not cooked all the way. More medium rare than anything. Decide to keep instead of sending back again but still let the waitress know. We box it up. Ticket was 103.00. After further push they grudgingly take 10.00 off. The steak alone was 28.99. Wasnt asking for free but felt an apology or just acknowledging that maybe they dropped the ball would have went a long way. Will not be back and will pass along our...

Burgers were preformed meat patties worse than you get from a grocery store. Son and I love burgers and neither of us ate more than 1/3 of it. Chicken fried steak was all breading and tough, and wife ate less than a third of it. Tex mex nachos were terrible. The shredded cheese was about the only thing decent on it and salsa was horrible. Fries were decent so we pretty much just ate those. Keep in mind we drove over 8 hours, and we were hungry not having a meal all day. I'd rather have stopped at taco bell or McDonald's for cheaper and sadly better food.
The restaurant itself looked run down on the inside. Old creaky booth seats, and tables were very old and worn.
Our waiter was the best part of the experience, but the rest was a complete let down. It's ballpark food at best but pricing of a...
