Visiting Charleston, and found this coffee and bagel shop a block from our rental. It's a block or so from King Street. Small intimate setting, steadily busy indicating the locals support it well. Always a great sign. The coffee bar and bagel bar are in separate parts of the building, but will take orders for both (at least in bagel side). A very eclectic variety of 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's music which is very satisfying.

It is well staffed, orders are not rushed but don't take long at all. They are all friendly, greet you with a smile, and will engage in conversation. Morgan was awesome at the register, very friendly. All the staff was for that matter.

Prices are competitive, and worth paying for a local establishment. The quality matches. Food was good. On Morgan's recommendation I had the bacon, egg, and cheese on a rosemary and salt bagel. It was an excellent combination. A little salty for my taste, but I don't like a ton of salt and it did not interfere with my enjoyment. My wife had the cinnamon and sugar bagel, while my bonus daughter and her friend had the asiago and cheese bagel. I also had an Americano, very well made. On second trip, I enjoyed the Lox on an everything bagel, very delicious.

Great place to bring a book and start the day. ...

Fantastic food and staff! We were in Charleston for a few days and stopped in this morning for breakfast on our way out of town. It was a little bit busy but we didn't have to wait too long for our food, which they brought to our table when it was ready. The food was awesome- I got the jalapeño cheddar bagel and it was SO GOOD. Definitely not a cheap place to eat but the price is well worth it, and they don't skimp out on the fillings- I could've easily split my breakfast sandwich with someone. The dining area was also very clean. Not only was the food great, but the staff was also phenomenal, particularly the person working the cash register with cool jewelry that called everyone "friend". The moment I walked in, I could instantly feel the good vibes they were giving off and creating in the cafe. Well-spoken, courteous, and kind, they were a great face of the establishment. To that employee: you're awesome, you deserve a raise, and I wish you all the happiness in the world. I will definitely be coming back if I'm ever in...

Visiting Charleston for the weekend and saw a lot of hype for this shop. I am a bagel lover and am all trying a new bagel place especially when traveling. I’m giving this place 3 stars (one star off for each reason) listed below.

We waited over hour in line and an additional 15-20ish minutes to receive our bagels.

When we finally receive our bagels, everything looks great. The bagel was warm BUT everything inside was ultra cold. Turkey, cheese and cream cheese were extremely cold. What has set other bagel shops apart in the past has been attention to detail and this is a big one. You don’t want a warm outside and chilly inside on a sandwich.

That being said, for an hour wait in line I would say it was not worth it. The employees gave great service and were kind but I’m sorry, an hour wait for a bagel sandwich with a fridge cold interior definitely...

Short walk from king st, delicious bagels. Visited after the copper river bridge run and it was busy. But the staff did a great job keeping the line moving and were super friendly. Loved the jalapeño cheddar bagel, perfect amount of cheese to jalapeño. Everything bagel was two thumbs too!
