Great coffee and most importantly great staff. being in the restaurant business traveling from Sarasota to Charleston Iām so happy I found this gem. Talk about efficiency, staff is ready for crowds, everyday I went there thereās always a line which they seem to know how to handle efficiently and flawlessly. Now letās talk about coffee, thereās a red hair young lady working the coffee machine (sheās a powerhouse) she pushes those drinks so fast without compromising the presentation of each cup along with the quality. My flats white (Australian style coffee equivalent to cappuccino with less milk) was so good I ordered a second to go every time. Now letās talk about the staff The Harmony between them is hard to find and from what I can tell resulted of them working together for a while (less employees turn over= good management or boss). Two people in my party found little pieces of plastic in their food, but itās whatever, we picked it out, no big deal - weāre easy. Two out of the three of us received our food in a timely manner, but our last party memberās food didnāt arrive. When we inquired, they said they forgot to ring it in and it would be a few minutes, but like I said before, we get it! So we waited. The food came, as well as a new check. They adjusted our card payment to pay for the meal they forgot. Though itās understandable, it really isnāt? We all felt like that forgotten meal should have been comped considering it was their error. My wife and I were having a conversation when Molly came over and stuck a convo with us and then invited us to come Babas for breakfast. She was so sweet that we couldnāt say no. Popped in the following morning and Molly recommended a couple of items and we ended up going with the Quiche, Creame Puff, Sour Douqh grilled Cheese with Mushrooms. For drinks we went with a cortado and espresso shakened with lemon and simple syrup. Everything was on point⦠a blend of delicious simply done welll.y wife thinks it is the best quiche she has ever had. The eggs were incredible fluffy and the crust was tops. Puff exquisite and the filling was great. I really enjoyed the shaken espresso ⦠really cool way to have espresso that made the drink very refreshing and we will try to replicate at home.
