Waikiki Hawaiian BBQ — Restaurant in Concord

Every time I am craving for chicken katsu, this is where I go. I believe it is around $14 for a regular size but the portion is pretty big. They give you plenty of chicken katsu, about a cup of white rice, a scoop of macaroni salad, and a small katsu sauce container. I like to dip my chicken with a lot of sauce and if you are like me then ask for extra katsu sauce, one container will not be enough. There was no charge for extra katsu sauce. This is the only item I have tried here but they never disappoint whenever I get it. I do a phone order and it's most of the time done within 10 minutes after my order has been placed. I usually pay with cash, but if you pay with card, I think there is a small fee for that. Give this place a try and let me know...

Being honest, the food is good the kimchi is great but... not the cleaniest place around...

It wasn't very good the service was fine but the dining area was dirty... I'm Hawaiian the food wasn't really authentic enough for me, call me picky but if you're gonna serve Hawaiian food make sure it taste like it's Hawaiian! I'm not racist I didn't expect it to be great cause it wasn't run by Hawaiians but I thought at least it would be pretty good... One of the simplest dish to make on the menu is "haupia" it didn't even taste like "haupia" I barely tasted the coconut it was watery and a bland flavor. I'm sorry I wasn't impressed!
