High altitude family fun! We met up with our family to snow ski and just visit together and we could've have picked a prettier place. The city of Crested Butte was so quaint & historic. The ski resort was a perfect place for my guy, Keith, to take ski school for the first time! Matt was our instructor and he had a great personality and plenty of patience. The resort was very well done, ski rental equipment went very smooth with everyone that helped us being very knowledgeable and friendly. I have not snow skied in many years but they fitted my snow boots the best ever! The equipment was in great condition and things went very nicely. We were very lucky that there was a great base layer of snow and not icy at all. We enjoyed our day there including the burger spot upstairs! Parking was a little crazy but we made it work, I would recommend to take advantage of the free shuttle service if you can. We didn't go to the top of the mountain with our limited experience but maybe our next visit! I would recommend this resort, it was reasonable prices and not very crowded either. Awesome experience we took the whole family for a day of skiing it is very expensive to go just for a day or two but man did we have fun the earlier you get there the better the Mountain snow is it was a little sketchy in the afternoon when the Sun got a little colder the whole front of the mountain seemed like a sheet of ice and everybody kept falling however everybody was tired at that point so we decided to stop about an hour early definitely will be back PS be careful in the parking area as the snow melts it turns into clear ice also known as black ice it is very slippery parking is $25 per day and if you don't pay for parking they will give you $100...

Given the fact that snow fall is below average , Creased Butte is doing an excellent job managing the hill in 2021.
On day one we skied " blue cruisers" all day and got in a lot of vertical on the very well groomed slopes.
On day two we did a great job trying out interesting runs and did both poma lifts and really enjoyed the advanced double...
