Black Tie Crested Butte was phenomenal to deal with. From beginning to end, and my ending was different than most. They were courteous, professional and just overall awesome. We had a 5pm appointment at our house in CB for equipment delivery. Their team showed up with the exact equipment we were expecting. Fit perfectly. On mountain performance was exactly what we expected. Great equipment.

On our last ski day, a Saturday, we were set for a 5pm pickup. I had the unfortunate mishap of yard sailing on Headwall Glades and lost everything. Literally. I was fine but my equipment was not. Two poles and two skis. Nowhere to be found. About an hour after my incident one of my skis showed up at the main lodge. Wow! Unfortunately not the other. We departed Sunday morning. As I was boarding our flight back to the East Coast the owner Roman called me to tell me he was headed out to look for my missing ski. He and a tech Blake hit the mountain that afternoon but unfortunately couldn’t find it.

However two days later Roman called with the lucky news that someone found it and returned it. This could have played out a number of different ways but the honesty, integrity and professionalism of this location stands out above other locations! I simply can’t review/redommend them high enough. Just a fantastic experience through and through.

Thank you to the team. When I come back I will 100% get my ski equipment from you. But I probably won’t ski Headwall...

I have been skiing for 30+ years and I have never had to have reservations for skis 48 hours in advanced. Every shop on the mountain said that I could pick up my equipment in 2 days! When your only skiing 5 that really messes with your family vacations. Every place I called said the same except Roman at Black Tie Ski rentals. It was 5:30 Sunday night and he answered the phone. He could not believe that they would do this to our family and said he would stay open and get us fitted.

We showed up and him and his staff were great! Figured out what ski packages would be best due to our abilities and set us up. Maybe 45 min and we were on our way to dinner and back to our place. Equipment was great and then the best part. At the end of the trip, when your packing up you realize, YOU DON"T HAVE TO RETURN THE EQUIPMENT!! Just simply give them a call and they picked everything up.

We have another trip scheduled for this Spring Break at another mountain and I will not hesitate to call Black Tie when we get their to get our next round of...

Black Tie Ski Rental and Delivery of Crested Butte is better than advertised. I wish I could remember the names of our agents, but I got hospitalized and forgot their names. I will not forget their professionalism, courtesy, and eagerness to help. They are easy to contact by through their website or by email. You can even call and talk to an English-speaking American human being, who won't ask you, "May I know", anything. They did exactly what they said they would do, provided the best and newest equipment, and seemed very happy to do it. Do yourself a favor, save a half day for skiing by skipping the long lines at the rental shops, avoid the old, worn-out, stinky gear, the long hikes carrying your whole family's gear uphill over slippery sidewalks, and let Black Tie do it for you. We love skiing, but that process is exhausting and takes away from the fun and relaxation of the trip. It's like paying to eat at a restaurant, but still having to cook and do the dishes.
